Castle holiday rentals in Indre

Jean Caude and his wife were amazing. We got settled into the amazing room and then he invited us to join him for some wine in the yard. He gave us a tour of the grounds and was extremely friendly. I'm the morning we had breakfast in his 1650 home with baguettes and croissants, fruit home made jam and freshly squeezed orange juice. With beautiful music playing. This stay was a 10/10 and a high light of our holiday.

Séjour très réussi du fait du cadre exceptionnel et de l'accueil en tous points efficace et chaleureux. Le cadre de l'"écurie" est original et plaisant. Un seul point à améliorer: plus de transparence sur le site quand aux prestations complémentaires en ce qui concerne les repas. Sinon, ce séjour dans ce havre de paix a été en tous points idéal.

We loved our stay at Richard's place. It was better than expected. Our kids were fascinated that we got to stay in a real castle. The rooms were comfortable, beautiful, clean, and with fresh flowers. The bathroom was amazing. Such a wonderful place with such attention to detail. Richard and his wife were warm and welcoming. The breakfast was included and was fresh and wonderful. Thank you again for a wonderful stay! Just an FYI: We had some difficulty finding the place with Apple Maps/GPS. It seems incorrect on the Air BNB link. However, the actual address listed is correct. We did not have service so luckily a nice gentleman in the village gave us directions. I would just recommend written directions on the AirBNB listing.

We had an amazing stay! So relaxing and beautiful, we wished we would have stayed more nights.

A lovely nights stay in this lovely chateau. Our children loved the pool and feeding the ducks. A beautiful place indeed with lots of rustic charm.

What a choice, the best choice anyone could make when wanting to discover the area, Ellen, Paul, the dogs and family could not of been better hosts and company. The Castle is perfection and we had a truly magical stay. We couldn’t recommend Ellen and her wonderful home enough. We will be coming back! We can’t wait! Thank you!

Un beau château dans un joli parc avec un plan d’eau où l’on peut admirer cygnes et canards. L’endroit jouit d’un calme sans pareil et cela est très reposant. Nous avons été accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse par l’hôte des lieux qui est, par ailleurs, très attentionné, disponible et à l’écoute de ses visiteurs. Les chambres et autres espaces sont d’une propreté irréprochable. Le petit-déjeuner français est généreux. Notre halte fut courte mais plus qu'appréciable et, si nous devions séjourner à nouveau dans les alentours, nous choisirions à nouveau ce château.

We tried to come up with a bad review so we could keep the place our little secret... but we just really loved our stay with Keith and Anita. We went to stay at this lovely and charming chateau for a week and it was all that we hoped for. It is a great place to relax and unwind. We felt very welcome with such friendly hosts, who were always there to give tips for local restaurants, etc. We would love to come back there one day. Tip: we could recommend their homemade afternoon tea.

Stunning building in a beautiful gardens and a delightful, peaceful village. Valérie could not have been more helpful. It’s hard to describe how beautiful the grounds were. The photos don’t do it justice. And my kids loved the pool table in what has to be the coolest attic conversion in the Loire valley.
