The cabin is an old forest shoe with simple standard, and outhouse. The food is made over a gas stove, and a gas refrigerator keeps the groceries cool. Water is picked up in Steinsvannet just below. There is also a rowboat and a canoe that you have at your disposal. Inside, you can lower your shoulders and enjoy silence and birds chirping. Cleaning afterwards, let's go. Welcome!

Single-family home in the countryside

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The house is located in the ski area, but only 5 minutes drive from Askim city center. From Askim there are train connections to Oslo. About 45 minutes train time. We have two cats who enjoy both inside and outside. Our house is well kept and clean. We ourselves have four children, the house is therefore child friendly. Glomma is a short walk away. Possible to borrow horses and lots of nice outdoor opportunities in the area Dishes are done by tenant

The cabin is stacked with kitchen supplies, comfortable beds, private sauna, outdoor fireplace, heat pump, air con, hi-fi equipment, fireplace, baby cot, chairs, stroller etc. Please note there is a 100 meter walk from the parking.

The cabin is conveniently located just a one-hour drive from both Oslo and Gardermoen. Its elevated position allows you to enjoy the magnificent view of Hemnessjøen, a popular lake for fishing all year round. During the summer, you can even borrow a boat to explore the lake. Additionally, there are some wonderful hiking areas in close proximity to the cabin, offering opportunities for outdoor adventures and connecting with nature.
