Holiday rentals in Il Mulino

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans ce charmant petit appartement traditionnel parfaitement situé. Le logement correspond aux photos et tout était propre et les instructions claires. Nous avons apprécié la flexibilité de notre arrivée. Fabio a enfin été très accueillant et réactif. Merci encore !

It's a great old house but heavily modernized, so you can enjoy the history of the place but have modern amenities where you need them - kitchen, bathroom, heating, wifi. It's a very spacious, clean and comfortable house where you can really feel at home. The hosts - Lorella and Anna Maria - have done a fantastic job meeting and welcoming us. Everything was clear and easy from the beginning to the end. We really loved the place and would be happy to return!

The Wine Loft is incredibly peaceful and beautiful. The modern architecture is gorgeous and the views are magical. We traveled by trains and it was easy to take a taxi (arranged by the Wine Loft) from the station. Additionally, we enjoyed walking the country path through the woods and meadow to Bagno Vignoni. We highly recommend this beautiful property. The wines were a phenomenal addition to the stay.

Beautiful home in a more secluded area overlooking Lake Trasimeno. The trains and a highway are below but not invasive. The views are beautiful. The home was clean and tastefully updated but still clearly old and had a lot of character. We did not have a car and the train station is an hour walk away. There are a couple buses that pass through but not enough to be a reliable means of getting to and from the house. Even the taxi was busy and we had to be flexible on when we went to the train station but it worked out fine. We walked to and from Tuoro for groceries and visited La Puntabella for a great dinner with a view. It was an adventure and we enjoyed it despite our plan not being very good for this location. Sonia was patient and helpful in working out our means of travel and figuring out the bus schedule. Natolino reminded us of home and he is fun to watch and listen to.

Het verblijf 'Casa Elisa' was beter dan we hadden verwacht. Het is een groot huis met zelfs een kelder met sauna. Het zwembad in de tuin (met buitendouche en toilet) en het huis zelf waren brandschoon. Er was geen stofje of spinnenweb te ontdekken (zelfs niet achter een kast die wij verschoven om bij een stopcontact te kunnen). Het uitzicht vanaf het balkon was adembenemend en de omgeving was fantastisch. Je bent zo in plaatsjes zoals Siena, Arezzo, Perugia en er is vlakbij ook een groot meer waar wij een dag een bootje hebben gehuurd (aanrader). Kortom, we kunnen het iedereen aanraden om bij Lorenzo te boeken. De communicatie met Lorenzo was ook uitstekend, goed te bereiken via app en spreekt goed Engels. Zijn vader komt elke dag even het zwembad checken en schoonmaken en zijn moederdag heel lief een heerlijke taart gebakken.

Da sempre innamorati di Cortona, abbiamo passato 4 giorni nel casale di Giovanni, a due passi dal centro storico e in posizione che ci ha permesso di godere dei panorami e della tranquillità della campagna toscana. Il casale è ristrutturato con cura e corrisponde perfettamente alle foto. Siano stati accolti con gentilezza e abbiamo apprezzato la flessibilità e i piccoli dettagli (una bottiglia di acqua fresca, l'olio di produzione propria, le cose che ti fanno sentire a casa). La piscina è sicuramente il punto di forza di un casale che ti fa sentire perfettamente immerso nella natura e nello spirito autentico della Toscana. Tutto meraviglioso!

We truly cannot praise Rob and Ilonka’s place enough! They are truly the most caring, diligent, and thoughtful hosts we have ever had. The home was immaculate upon arrival, stocked with snacks, drinks, wine, and daily necessities. Rob and Ilonka were kind enough to give us a tour of the house, provide suggestions for stores and day-trips nearby; they even offered to start a fire in the fireplace during the cooler Tuscan nights. The views were breathtaking, and the pool was an excellent amenity to sit and enjoy the peaceful landscape. The couple did not miss a single detail, which was evident in how they care for their place, their generous hospitality, and their authentic desire to provide their guests with an extraordinary stay. From friends to family, we are beyond grateful for the people and place that made Tuscany feel like our true home away from home.

Die Unterkunft von Alberto hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Sie liegt am Rand von Castiglion Fiorentino, wodurch es angenehm ruhig ist. Das Stadtzentrum ist in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet und außerdem voll ausgestattet. Im Innenhof gibt es einen kleinen Bereich, der den Gästen zur Verfügung steht. Auch das Auto konnten wir direkt dort abstellen. Die Kommunikation mit Alberto lief völlig reibungslos. Wir wurden herzlich von ihm an der Unterkunft empfangen. Zudem hat er uns einige Tipps zu Veranstaltungen in Castiglion Fiorentino und der Umgebung gegeben. Klare Weiterempfehlung!
