This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

Our cozy detached log cabin for up to 2 adults + possibly 2 children + baby is located in a quiet wooded private garden in the cozy Ermelo on the outskirts of Veluwe. The perfect base to enjoy cycling or hiking through vast forests and heath. The city center of Ermelo with various shops, nice restaurants is within walking distance. Here in quiet Frisian Rohel you can really be outside, feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your skin. Cycling and hiking along the meadows and (cold) swimming in the Tjeukemeer. Drink a glass of wine on the terrace on the water, with the view of infinity, under the old fruit trees in the garden. Apart from the sounds of birds, the rustling of the wind and in the distance a tractor, you don't hear anything at all here. The sunsets can be amazingly beautiful here.

For a while, enjoy nature on the outskirts of the IJsselmeer, surrounded by beautiful nature reserves. In the 2700m2 backyard of our farmhouse, there are two detached tiny houses with a large private garden and private entrance with lots of privacy . This lovely cozy cottage is located in a beautiful location in the outskirts of the Frisian Noordwolde, where there are many birds. Completely furnished, with a cozy pellet stove and a wood stove, this is really a place to relax and unwind! The cottage has its own garden and is adjacent to a forest, where you can take a nice walk and in the vicinity there are many more hiking areas. You can also walk from the cottage to a nice swimming pool in about 20 minutes.
