The River House is located on the Monocacy River with the Monocacy National Battlefield on the opposite shore. Downtown Frederick, Maryland is just 3 miles away. A brick charcoal barbecue grill is offered for outdoor grilling. There are 3 units available in the River House. This is the largest and includes a full modern kitchen with island seating for 5, 2 full baths, washer/dryer and sleeps 5 comfortably. The property is served by T-Mobile high speed internet. The Villa is not pet friendly.

Breathtaking views all around. Just 50 minutes from Baltimore and Washington DC and 10 minutes to historic downtown Frederick. Jorge and John were incredible welcoming, oriented me to the shared spaces. I especially appreciated having a dedicated space in the refrigerator and pantry for my food during my stay. I got some great advice for local food and recreation. It was a pleasure staying in Frederick!

Misha is a wonderful host. Very accommodating and welcoming. I got in later than I had hoped and the Navigation took me somewhere else but she walked me through how to correct and make it to her location. Very clean as others have mentioned and very personable. Would definitely book again if I were in the area.

This was a great place to stay. The host was super sweet and nice. She kept offering me food. She gave me muffins & some pumpkin pie to take with me when I left. The bathroom was great & it was very quiet. It was a pretty nice neighborhood & super close to a lot of good/helpful stuff. Overall I'd say I had a great stay & would recommend staying here.

Great stay at Shawn’s! Very likely to return. Comfortable bed, private bathroom. Really nice townhome. Casper the cat was an adorably welcoming face coming in and out. A cat lover who (sadly) is allergic, I had very little reaction to Casper — didn’t have to pop a Zyrtec for three days! Highly recommend Shawn’s pad for a place for a safe, comforting place to lay your head.
