Chalet Vintage

TraceyRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We had a wonderful time at the chalet as a family of 5. Vesna met us on arrival to show us where everything was. We loved the bbq and hot tub and the kids had a great time playing badminton on the grass. The chalet is small but well planned with everything we needed and you can tell how much thought was put into the design. Highly recommend.

Holiday Cottage in Forest Paradise

Due to the problem with Google Maps, we got lost in the dark. After contacting the landlord, he immediately confirmed our location and came to pick us up by car. Eventually, we made it back to the warm home! The landlord was very kind and kept comforting us that it was a minor issue. This country house was the most comfortable place we stayed during the entire trip! It was as warm as home! The house had everything you could need! If there's a chance in the future, we will definitely come back. This peaceful place is perfect for people who need a good sleep! Highly recommended!

apartment with 2 beds and a large bathroom

HélèneRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We spent a week with the family in Luka. the apartment is completely new, very clean and well equipped with a balcony overlooking the mountains and the village steeple! A real postcard landscape. Luka lives nearby in the village, it is available and discreet at the same time. His cows are our closest neighbors, Luka makes his cheese which is delicious, we were able to buy him some to take home. Very quiet and family village, I highly recommend this rental, the location is rather well located between the lakes and the sea.

Our stay with Zoran was excellent. Location is right in town with easy walking to restaurants, the Idrija mine, and the downtown. Zoran was also a great host and gave us an overview of what to see and do. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would go back if we were ever in Idrija.

Dream location for this cottage: secluded, quiet with magnificent views. Good balance between rusticity and comfort. The hosts are available and very friendly. To find the accommodation, follow the directions on Google Maps (do not follow Waze). We had a lovely stay in this peaceful that we recommend.

Idrija: Wooden cabin with a view

SimonRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Upon arrival, our host, Aleš, was already waiting for us, even though we had only mentioned we'd arrive sometime in the afternoon. Aleš's communication was top-notch, responding swiftly and eagerly assisting us throughout the entire stay. The cabin is located at the end of the street, with a steep climb to reach it. It's tranquil, although you can still hear the sounds of the town below, as Idrija is nestled amidst mountains. The cabin boasts a stunning private garden, and with the sunny weather, we found ourselves living alfresco most of the time. Idrija may be small, but it's not lacking in charm or amenities. Although it's about a 30-minute drive from the highway, the breathtaking surroundings more than make up for it. You'll find supermarkets, restaurants, and pubs all within walking distance. We particularly enjoyed visiting the mercury mine, a mere 5-minute walk from the cabin and taking a dip in the Idrijska, just a 10-minute drive away.
