Sunset house in Hydra(studio)

Our parents build this wonderful house in the traditional architecture of Hydra. The house is located in the picturesque fisherman's harbour of Kamini, more quiet and peaceful compared to the lively and cosmopolitan port of Hydra. It is 15 min walk from the central port of Hydra (along a scenic road next to the sea) or 3 min by water taxi. The route leading to the house has quite a few steps as all routes do in the town of Hydra but the spectacular view from the terrace make it worth the effort.

The studio is part of a bigger traditional old Stone house, fully renovated and with great view to the harbour. One reaches the houses in 10-15 minutes walk (and stairs) from the port depending on each person's pace. Hydra is amphitheatricaly built and there are a lot of cobble stone stairs around town and leading up to the house so ...not for everyone! Ακριβώς δίπλα στην Ιστορική Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών και μισό λεπτό από την οικία του Παύλου Κουντουριώτη. Αντιδιαμετρικά είναι επίσης κοντά στην οικία του Λάζαρου Κουντουριώτη, το σπίτι του οποίου έχει γίνει μουσείο. Η απόσταση από το λιμάνι, τα super market, τα cafe και τα restaurants είναι ελάχιστη.

Our house is a traditional, sunny house with two internal courtyards. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood. It is only ten minutes from the port of Hydra and is fully equipped. Four meters from the house there is a small grocery store that operates on Sundays. There are easy access to sandy beaches (Kamini, Avlaki, Mandraki) and to beaches with rocks (Spilia).
