Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Humboldt County

Julie was a wonderful host and the home and yard were very nice. Everything was provided and the coffee set up was very welcoming. The home and yard were very clean and neat, and the bed was very comfortable. The yard was very secure for our dogs, and they loved the grass and trees. Julie communicated well with us, and helped us feel at home. I would strongly recommend staying here, and I hope we can come back to visit again soon.

this was a neat little place to stay, a lot of time was spent on little details. I loved the antique sink and furnishings. this was a great place for this wayward traveler. Danika was quick to respond to any questions and very easy to work with. the home and yard are well cared for. it was just a neat place to be as we made our trip.

We had a wonderful stay. The place was a cozy, beautiful and well appointed place to relax, plan and recover from our adventures. We like to cook and the kitchen was very well supplied with everything we needed to make nice meals. We are also outdoors enthusiasts and we could hike pretty much in any direction (lots of BLM) and find peace, solitude and stunning views of the mountains. We went on an 8 mile hike from the house up a nearby peak and saw only beautiful Nevada scenery and wildlife. We saw deer, a large owl living very near the house, many hawks, a bald eagle, pheasants (which was a treat as I’ve never seen pheasants in Nevada before), many magpies, mountain quail and of course lots of cows and horses. We also saw wild turkeys on the drive in from Winnemucca. The creek that runs by the house has a small waterfall which was very pleasant to listen to as we sat on the porch drinking our morning coffee and taking in the scenery. We soaked each night in the nearby hot spring.

Grandma and Grandpa, plus an adult daughter and her two boys, ages 13 and 10, are on a 4,500-mile trip from Nebraska to the Oregon Coast and return. We were only staying one night in Winnemucca, but found Laura's accommodations lovely, with everything we needed for a peaceful rest. Such an incredibly quant lush river side stay!! We arrived with little to no hassel getting and finding the location. Was such a treat after half day of travels to arrive to the loveliest of single flat cottages. Well kept, all ammenties needed and extra was thought of on all fronts by the ownerz. 10 outta 10 would recommend to a friend.

The place was great and looked just like there pics! Javier was super responsive when I had questions. The only complaint was the bedroom was a bit small but I assumed that ahead of time so it wasn’t a surprise. Everything we needed was there and it was super convenient and much appreciated!

Nice to have a separate bedroom and living room. Kitchen appliances were great. Couldn't use the deck much, due to the weather, but it seemed nice. Inside, it was not noisy at all, which was great.
