Very peaceful area nice and quiet and walking distance to the river. Lisa was available and very helpful with local information. We will be returning !!

Can’t recommend this place enough! ( although I’d like to keep it a hidden little gem just for myself) the experience and serenity are worth every penny! My sister in law and I stayed at Alpine Camp and the view of the waterfall each morning, coupled with the option to open the front of our A frame and basically be sitting outside with it while in bed, was something beyond words! They do a fantastic job of upkeep with the bathrooms and kitchen, the showers and bath are such a lovely treat. The hosts have done such a beautiful job with detail, there are so many beautiful touches throughout the camp and I once again cannot recommend this place enough. If you’re considering booking, I recommend you do!

A beautiful spot to land in a rugged landscape. I appreciate how Laura was communicative and present if needed, but gave lots of space for us to enjoy the quiet solitude. I enjoyed a peaceful evening viewing the moon and stars from the soaking tub. It’s a great town, too—really enjoyed the friendly people and delicious food.

The cabin was lovely, it was clean, comfortable and in a great location to explore the Redwoods. Easy check in, good communication and even managed to move our dates last minute which we really appreciated. Thank you!

The cabin was beautiful, comfortable & nicely furnished. The yard, hot tub, upstairs & downstairs deck/patio areas were wonderful. I loved seeing a variety of wildlife. I also liked the privacy aspect, being at the end of a long, separate driveway in a quiet area. A very peaceful & pleasant stay, with a cute little park nearby. I appreciated the host's clear instructions regarding location & check out. I will absolutely be back. Thanks so much for your hospitality and the lovely visit.

Alden's place really deserves 10 stars. It is so well taken care of. The shower, the kitchen, the porch, everything is great and the bed sooo comfortable. Super clean! Pristine hot tub. Quiet unit and area. Did not hear anything from the people in the unit next door. Heating and cooling are quiet and quick. Walk less than five minutes to a couple of very good restaurants. And so close to all the redwood attractions. Hard to beat.

We had a great stay at Camp Trinidad. The cabin was exactly like the pictures. So well kept and cozy. Everything needed in the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom was there. We loved the deck and gas fire pit in the evenings. The amenity, games, and public areas were so welcoming. A great place if you’re looking to spend time on the N. California coast and especially the Redwoods National forest.

The place is exactly as described, and squeaky clean! Glad to have chosen this place to stay and will consider again.

My family and I loved the green cabin, even in the rain! We visited, played board games and watched movies provided. The layout of property is perfect. Lots of comfy beds, generous seating on couch and table. We are already planning our next stay!

Cute place to get away and not too far from places to hike. A lady is staying in the downstairs room and is really nice. She has her horses, goats, and donkeys in the yard. We couldn’t even tell she was there unless we went outside while she was feeding her animals.

Maureen is AWESOME! We stayed at her little rustic farm on our costal road trip and it added to the adventure with the mountains, redwoods, and animals.

We LOVED staying at Marke’s place! He provided us with a complimentary bottle of wine and bag of wood for a bonfire upon our arrival. He showed us around the cabin and made sure we knew where everything was, how the water system worked, etc. We did have to get the keys directly from Marke and hand them off to him upon leaving, so if you’re looking for a contactless check in this place probably isn’t for you. However, we loved our personal interactions with Marke and the hospitality he provided! The location of the property is also ideal! Right next to Sue-Meg State Park and not far from all things Redwoods State and National Parks!

This is a great private place to stay in a beautiful area! We enjoyed the rustic feel and Robert was a great host.

The place is amazing, as advertised. We had a great stay including accessing the amazing beach on the river, just below the cabin. Will definitely try and be back!

The Round House is a great place to stay. We stayed here over a weekend with 5 adults and the experience was wonderful. The private river access and pool are nice opportunities. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place to stay.

Carl was super communicative! Place was cozy and quaint for our night through Trinidad while we work our way up the coast.

We had a fantastic stay. Close to where our friends had their wedding, beautiful place, very clean, great value. We would definitely stay again if we’re in the area.

Our group of 11 volunteers from our monastery thoroughly enjoyed their retreat. Elijah was on site and excelled in his pragmatic and friendly hospitality. He went beyond the call of duty to assist our group feel safe and welcomed. If you enjoy off the grid and a remote location experience while still having the basic amenities, this retreat is for you. The home was perfect for a weekend visit. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable and the pictures were just as the house looked. We didn't have any challenges getting in, there is plenty of parking, and we enjoyed the wood stove. It is a ways out of town, but the drive is really pretty and I loved the covered bridge you drive through to get there.

This was our home base for 3 nights to visit the redwoods. It was very peaceful and quiet despite being a short drive from Trinidad and surrounding towns. Pay attention to her written directions and it’s no problem to find - GPS will lead you astray! The kitchen was very basic but we were able to cook decent meals. We loved being greeted by the dogs every night when we got home :) There are no window treatments, but I slept great with an eye mask.

We Absolutely LOOOOVED waking up and looking out into the forest! The gated entry makes you feel as though you’re coming into an enchanted grove filled with peaceful and wonderful Life!! The space was so open and light! If you’re wanting to feel grounded and part of the beautiful surroundings of Northern California- what better way then to start your day with a warm out door shower under beautiful trees!! And that’s DEFINITELY what we were looking to do! Taking a stroll through the back woods to over look the beautiful river from a sweet little bench was absolutely the Peace we were looking for! Everyone in town was very friendly! Definitely gave us “Goals” for our own hide away one day! But until then- we look forward to coming back and maybe bringing the grandkids with!! We loved Every part of this beautiful home in the woods!! So much life and peace!!! Wish we could have had another week there this round!!!

The place was spotless and well appointed. It was perfect for our needs - close to downtown and walkable to all the great shopping and restaurants but nestled in a back alley so it was blissfully quiet and peaceful. We loved it and will definitely plan to return and stay here whenever we can.
