Absolutely stunning views. There is a beautiful firepit balcony that overlooks the ocean just steps away from this airbnb. The place was nice and cozy inside. We packed food to cook and found everything we needed to help prepare our meals. There was a washer and dryer that we used after visiting the beach. Susan gave us great recommendations on places to eat. There were board games inside fir family fun. We will definitely be coming back for our next ocean trip.

This is such a beautiful home! I loved the decor and amenities. The views are great, its within walking distance of local businesses and trails. My favorite was just sitting in the recliner and reading. Im definitely bringing the family next time. Its spacious enough so people wont feel crowded.

The rocky cliffs waves crashing view is wowzy. The roads to get there are a bit nerve racking if your used to mostly flat roads.

We had another amazing stay at Jennifer's place! This was our second time back and it was just as good if not better than our first trip. The house is very quiet and has great views of the ocean. Everything was clean and very comfortable. This has become our go-to spot when staying in the area and we will be back soon!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The house and entire property were amazing, even better than we could have imagined. We spent our days playing tag with the kids in the beautiful front yard, cooking warm meals together in the spacious kitchen, and relaxing by the stream where we even dipped our feet in while sitting on a small bridge. One of the highlights was having a picnic next to a gorgeous waterfall , truly unforgettable! It was everything I had hoped for and more for my birthday weekend. A perfect place to recharge before heading back to our regular routine.

This place is pure paradise! The ocean view is absolutely stunning, and the black sand beach just a small walk away makes it feel like a hidden gem. Every morning we woke up to the sound of the waves and watched pelicans and ospreys fly by—it was magical. The home was spotless when we arrived, and everything felt fresh and well cared for. The beds were super comfortable with high-quality linens, and we all slept great every night. The kitchen was a major highlight—huge, modern, and fully stocked with any appliance we needed. Whether we were cooking a full meal or just enjoying coffee with a view, it was perfect. The hosts clearly put a lot of thought into every detail. We felt right at home and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful and beautifully maintained beach escape!

Great location, ocean view from the deck to enjoy a glass of local wine. Very friendly and responsive hosts. The neighborhood is so quiet that you can fall asleep to the sound of the ocean crashing into the rocks. The house was clean and well equipped. Abundant wildlife roaming the streets. We really enjoyed our stay in a hidden gem of Shelter Cove.

Great place for me, my wife, and 2 year old! Extremely quiet and was great to come back to after a long day hiking. Close to Eureka for food and drinks.

Our group of 11 volunteers from our monastery thoroughly enjoyed their retreat. Elijah was on site and excelled in his pragmatic and friendly hospitality. Sunset House is a nicely-appointed, comfortable house. The deck offered outside dining with a view of the ocean. Easy walking to the beach for tide pooling, to Trinidad Head for hiking and birding, to a great breakfast at the Seascape Restaurant, and to a grocery store, a pizza place, a coffee shop, and other restaurants. Arlene's yard was full of May flowers (rhododendrons, calla lilies, wisteria, fuchsia) and has a big back yard perfect for drinking tea in the morning sun. Comfortable beds, big plush towels. It was a nice and quiet location away from any car traffic. And, she has a whole bunch of board games which we enjoyed playing. This is a perfect Airbnb!

It's hard to find the words to describe Sea Dance. Easily the nicest Airbnb we've ever encountered and one of the most memorable lodging experiences in 30 years of traveling. The unit itself is spotless, meticulously designed to maximize every square inch, and filled with luxurious touches (wonderful bed and duvet, "rain" shower head, heated towel bars, etc.). However, the setting is truly extraordinary. The view from the Adirondack chairs is so amazing, after each day of hiking we found ourselves getting takeout from local restaurants and rushing back to Sea Dance to soak in the experience. Just book it; you won't be disappointed. And be sure to get the "Old Growth" pizza from Headies, 2 doors down from the grocery store in Trinidad. It pairs perfectly with a Sea Dance sunset. Patty and Keith are such gracious and helpful hosts. We would LOVE to go back!

The whale song house was even better than in the pictures. It was close to great restaurants, wonderful beaches and was fully equipped with anything needed for a great stay. The extra touches, like coffee left for guests, was a wonderful surprise. The host was very responsive, communicative, and excellent to work with. I highly recommend this Airbnb and hope to stay here again in the future!!

Trinidad is such a gem! From Michelle's place, it's a short walk to some bluffs with an incredibe view, and a little further to beautiful Trinidad State Beach and Trinidad head. Michelle's place was just what we needed to relax and get cozy in between trips to nearby beaches, tide pools and redwoods. Michelle was very communicative and check-in and check-out was easy. Thanks, Michelle!

My friend and I were celebrating our birthdays out of town and we loved staying at the place we rented out for a week. It was quiet, comfortable, and had all the things we needed to clean, cook, etc. Also, having the beach right across from us was such a nice plus! I got to take my little fur baby out for a walk with my friends and we both enjoyed the nature and scenery.

This is the perfect fun and funky house, with an unparalleled view. Ella was kind and very responsive. Would definitely stay again

Host Jarod was super responsive. I only had to reach out one time and it was for something I wasn't doing correctly. Our girl trip was more than we could have ever asked for. The amenities offered made our stay soooooo simple! This location is fully stocked and offered anything you could ever ask for or need. It was so nice to have a nice washer/dryer available! The pictures of the rooms don't do them justice, and the beds were very comfortable. The bedet in the master suite was a HUGE surprise! Haha. All photos on the airbnb site are very accurate and of course our favorite spot was sitting out on the deck taking in the gorgeous views and sunsets. During our stay there was even a mild earthquake in Fortuna causing ocean waves to get jump higher and break harder which was a site to see. Dangerous and beautiful all at the same time. Instructions left for guests could not be more clear. We are already thinking about another trip and when that happens, we'll definitely return here!

If you’re looking for somewhere to stay as a home base to the Redwoods, let us do you a favor — book this and search no further. Unbelievable ocean views, fantastic home, great community, close beaches and trails … you can’t beat it. Trinidad must be the best kept secret on the west coast.

Stunning views and very unique space. We just did 4 nights with our three sons and had a wonderful experience. Drivable to the redwoods, quiet, just lovely!

this home is truly a slice of heaven, I’m in all that the owners share it! It has the most magnificent views and a beautiful decks and a little yard to take it all in from. The beds are incredibly comfortable with the softest sheets and the main living area feels like you’re in the harbor everywhere you go. Can’t recommend it enough!

Pacific Dreams is a great description. The house has unbelievable views up and down the coast with an amazing outdoor deck overlooking the ocean. Panoramic floor to ceiling windows in the living room provide a spectacular view of the ocean and sunset. Plenty of room and amenities and convenient to a lot of great Redwood hikes and restaurants in and around Trinidad and Arcata. The house is very well done and immaculate.

My only hesitation in writing a perfect review is the fact that I want to go back with my family and hope it’s available… In all seriousness, it was absolutely spectacular even better than we expected. Wonderfully furnished. Kitchen was completely stocked with everything possible and it couldn’t be more oceanfront. 10 stars out of 10. Angelia was easy to communicate with about everything was so perfect. We didn’t need any assistance at all.

Fantastic! I almost hate to say how great it was because I don’t want it to always be booked next time I want to stay. But to be fair, we loved it! It’s just as described with lots of room to spread out. We rented both sides of the duplex. The kitchen has the best amenities I’ve seen at an Airbnb so far, and I have stayed at dozens of Airbnbs. I would say for sure it’s a cooking kitchen and a chef‘s dream. Backyard is amazing, the beds were comfortable. There’s plenty of extra bedding and extra pillows which we loved because we’re used to sleeping with two pillows each. Everything is in great shape with solid construction and modern clean furniture. This time of year I especially loved the electric fireplace in the entertainment center, which was nice ambience and kicked out some cozy heat. My husband‘s favorite touch was the small fans in the bedrooms. We are already plotting our next stay!
