South Manistique Lake which is 2 miles north of cottage. You can access the trails from the south of cottage 300 feet on a scenic trail in the woods about 2 miles turn left or right to find the trails.

Also, we are only one of two house on 200 ft of dirt road. You can leave the driveway to enter directly onto an assortment of ORV trails! Our cabin is conveniently located directly across from the groomed snowmobile trail. Centrally located for easy access to Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks, the Soo Locks, and Oswald's Bear Ranch. Midway between Lakes Superior and Michigan with many inland lakes. New flooring and a full size fold out couch were added in the beginning of 2025. We can now accommodate 5-6 guests.

Kai is an amazing host! Quick to answer questions and very friendly. His place is AMAZING. The view is stunning of the lake and especially the sunsets. A great place to relax and paint. Falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing on the shore is peaceful and if it is too warm. The windows are easy to close and the AC cools quickly. Very modern, extremely clean and comfortable, a beautiful place to unwind. It is off grid, however, everything you need is provided. Make sure to bring enough food for the week. There are stores and restaurants a little over a hour away. Although, after arriving Kai's place is so tranquil one does not want to leave. Electricity is powered by solar and a generater. The Only people seen were the occasional few at the lighthouse about a half mile away. Definately want to stay again soon!!!

We had such a great time at the Deerfoot lodge. We originally rented the smaller of the two cabins, but there was a small issue that needed to be fixed in the smaller one, and no one was staying in the larger cabin, we got a surprise upgrade! 2 houses on the property makes for an amazing chance to get the whole family together for an adventure!! The kids loved the little built in playroom under the stairs and the foosball table! Great location for quick trips to Tahquamenon Falls, Whitefish Point, snowmobile trails, and other attractions in the U.P. Highly recommend stopping at The Buckhorn for delicious dinner!! 10/10 would definitely stay again!! Thanks to Julie for the perfect getaway spot!

Ellie and Michael were wonderful hosts! Their place is squeaky clean and located in a peaceful spot. The bed was super comfy and it was stocked well. It was perfect for our annual UP trip and we will remember it for years to come!
