Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Huerfano County

Such a great place! We extended our reservation without any challenges. This place is in our saved file for rebooking in the future.

Megan had a warm, welcoming get away. We stayed for a hunting trip not expecting much but the hospitality was exceptional, she included us in breakfasts and dinners, watching movies in the living room, game of pool, dip in the hot tub, and great conversation. It made our trip much easier and much more enjoyable! We plan on staying with Megan the next trip to Colorado!

If your goal is to see the Sand Dunes, this location is closer to the front entrance than Alamosa. Fort Garland is a small town with not a lot of dining options, which we were aware of prior to arrival so brought food to cook and grill. Outdoor sitting area is nice with a lovely view of Mt. Blanca. A perfect place for what we were looking for.

This is a gem of a location nestled in the mountains with beautiful views. Just outside the home is an area to sit and look at the stars. The place is cozy and was able to accommodate us at 7 very well with extra spots for sleeping. We didn’t end up camping but there’s room for a couple of tents right outside. The home itself is wonderful. We had all the gear needed along with supporting spices for making meals. Additionally, the hosts are available to support with anything you need at all. If we are to ever come back to the sand dunes to visit, we are definitely considering here first to stay. It was only 30 minutes from the national park and yet well secluded for your stay. You won’t regret staying here!

This cabin offered a beautiful, cozy, and inviting place to stay. The fireplaces were a big hit for our family! Made for an amazing Christmas trip (especially with their cute Christmas decorations already up)! Would definitely visit again!

This place was amazing! If you are looking for NATURE, this is an amazing option! The home itself is surrounded on THREE sides by a river, and after walking across a bridge to the “backyard” area with lots of seating options, you are also surrounded on 3 sides by a river! Plus, the home is super unique! The kids and I LOVED our stay! There is a little town about a 2 minute drive from the house with a pretty tasty restaurant (Legends), and there are trails nearby. I would stay here again for sure!

Had a wonderful stay at this cabin again. Needed to get away and disconnect for a while and this is the place to go. Place looked great, was clean, and exactly as I remembered. Saw a few deer and lots of birds. Went on hikes walks around the roads here as well to connect with nature again. Loved it and can’t wait to hopefully stay again!

Very beautiful location overlooking the beautiful Colorado mountains would recommend to anyone who wants to escape reality and wants to be amazed at Gods creation. It was an amazing place to stay at as we went on vacation

What a beautiful space Nigel and his family have created for guests. This is a gem of a find! I'm definitely coming back for a week or weekend get away. You can enjoy the beautiful back yard with a trampoline and grill and a gorgeous fire place. It's a paradise for your dog to explore the entire area. The creek next to the house is just beautiful and you can lay out right by the water because of the spaces by the creek! Just so amazing! You can just tell Nigel and his family love to host and provide everything you need without even asking! Recommend this for any couple or solo trips to just get some time to yourself and enjoy the surroundings of this sweet little space and lovely small town with great and friendly people. I'll be back!

This home and property is absolutely stunning. The whole family had a wonderful time. Beautiful views. Perfect house for our needs.

Wish I could give this place an extra star. The area is just gorgeous. The hiking trails, zip line for the kids, yard games and gas fire pit made us never want to leave the property. We spent mornings on the porch drinking coffee and watching dozens of hummingbirds bulking up for migration. Lots of room for our kids, their spouses, and grandkids. It was magical. The owners are just lovely people, and super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They treated us like friends. We’d all love to go back!

I was very impressed with the property, and the view from the decks and also the craftsmanship of the whole place! Beautiful place and I highly recommend it.

Corinne was available to walk us through the home this was very helpful as we got in late. The beds were very comfortable, there was lots of space to stretch out. Well stocked kitchen. The entire home was very well taken care of and super clean. Will definitely stay again on our next golf trip. Highly recommended!
