It's a little bit far from the center of Kyoto, but it's 10 minutes to Saga-Arashiyama and 17 minutes to Nijo Station by JR from nearby Umahori Station, so I don't think it's that inconvenient compared to the city. There is also plenty of parking, making it ideal for gatherings with relatives. Nearby there is a trolley train, Hozugawa descent, and a rafting departure point for everyone to enjoy. There is a shopping mall, TSUTAYA, and restaurants within 100 meters of the inn, which is very convenient. Yanagian's nearest station, Umahori Station, is 25 minutes from Kyoto Station. 10 minutes to Arashiyama Station, 17 minutes to Nijo Station. It's also convenient if you book the Romantic train. There are a supermarket, pharmacy, DIY store and restaurants close by.

This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts.
