We are just 2 minutes from the Trout Run Trail, the Upper Iowa River & Luther College, which is just down the hill. Our lovely downtown Decorah is only 5 minutes away.

This location has 2 bathrooms, a relaxing loft and the most dreamy porch. *WARNING* When booking in the winter be aware of our driveway shown in the picture. We highly recommend 4 wheel drive. We also have a pack n play and high chair available upon request.

My husband and I loved this cozy little cottage to relax after a day of exploring this part of the state! It was a nice, peaceful end to our day! Flannery did a great job of communicating with us and gave great information for us to feel right at home! It was very clean and had everything we needed. We plan to come back! We stayed here for our mini-moon weekend and had the loveliest, most relaxing time. The cabin was gorgeous, cozy, and clean, surrounded by beautiful views. We arrived to wine, cake, and farm fresh eggs provided by our host. We enjoyed coffee on the porch in the early mornings enjoying the spectacular view and relaxed in the hot tub with wine in the evening. The airbnb is 20 minutes from Lanesboro, the cutest little town with cafes, restaurants, bars, and a brewery. There are also many Amish farms with shops nearby (the host provided a map of these farms), so we got to enjoy shopping in the Amish countryside as well. The host was incredibly responsive and always responded SO quickly. We appreciated her very much. We’ll be recommending a weekend away at trout creek cabin to everyone we know!

Had a wonderful stay at Kevin’s cabin. We were able to bring our dog and enjoyed taking walks on the property and sitting on the screened in back porch. Kitchen was fully stocked and the house had been freshly cleaned. Had a nice visit with Kevin when he stopped in to say hello to make sure we had everything we needed. Would love to stay here again in the future!

Brooke's place is a gem in Lanesboro. Just a few blocks from the main part of downtown, you get two bedrooms a kitchen and and a washer/dryer. Very clean and comfortable. A huge value. My son and I walked to the main strip downtown several times. We also biked from Brooke's house a few blocks to the Root River Trail. Everything that Lanesboro has to offer -- just outside your door!
