Nature, trails and forest a few hundred from the house. 25 km. to Aarhus (Moesgaard, ARoS, Den Gamle By og Friheden), 15 km. to sandy beach at Saksild or Hou with ferry to Samsø and Tunø, 12 km. to Skanderborg, 20 km. to Horsens.

Caretaker's Cottage - Countryside charm - Great for outdoor activities - Huge garden with wooden terraces. This home is a traditional Danish cottage built in 1920 in what is now a preserved area of lake and forest. It has been renovated over the past years keeping in line with the charm of the original building. The house used to be home to the caretaker of the old, roman church that can be seen across the lake from the house. It's a two-story house of 120 sq. meters.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. On the northwest side of Hjarnø, this gem is close to water and with a small forest. Large lovely garden and view to the water from several sides. Hjarnø is located in Horsens fjord and is a small island with 100 inhabitants, here is tranquility and lovely nature. Distance to the mainland is 5 min sailing with departures approx. every 20 minutes.
