Beach Pod - Waikawa Beach -North Island

It's rare to find a place that's both historic and one of a kind. This tiny home started out as the Koru Valet Parking Office at the Wellington Airport. It took 3 trucks, 2 hiabs and 3 pilots to transport the building to Waikawa Beach. Originally, it was used as a holiday beach hut, but we decided to make it a holiday home and put in a kitchen space, toilet, and shower. We lived here for 7 months until our house was complete. The Pod has been totally renovated, waiting for guests to enjoy.

Come to the wonderful Foxton Beach and enjoy time with family and friends. It’s close to the estuary and sunset walkway, and a 2 minute drive to the ocean beach. This is a large family home with all mod cons and is an awesome place to create wonderful times and memories. It is fully fenced, so super safe for kids and dogs. It is a very quiet and peaceful spot. There’s a new cafe called Ginger Ninja just around the corner with great coffee, hot chocolate, scones, cakes, sandwiches and pies.

Putara base camp feature a fully equipped kitchen, an open plan living area and dorm style sleeping area (6 beds are on the mezzanine floor, access is only by a ladder) with a capacity of 10 guest. You also have the option to pitch a tent. A separate ablution block with 5 showers and toilets. Nice big fenced grounds for the kids to play and have their little adventure. The Tararua forest park offers beautiful bush walk and is located 5 minutes down the road and great swimming holes nearby.

This is glorious beach tiny house (12m2) "glamping" on 1 Acre of land on the sand dunes, 4 mins walk to a beautiful, safe beach. Basic but fully kitted out (fridge, pots/pans/cutlery etc, heater, portable stove top, microwave etc). Shared washing up, shower, toilet, bbq, washing machine etc are in a separate building on the section (90 second walk). Shared swing, pizza oven, camp fire, volley ball pitch, canoes, surfboards all free to use If unavailable see other cabin listings.
