Dani’s Airbnb was amazing. While the location was about 20 mins from town, it was supper private and we loved it so we didn’t mind the drive. The place was clean, had all the amenities we needed, and the pool was wonderful. The host was also really responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Such a cool spot to stay in: you can’t be bored! The wind killed some of our activities though, but we still had a great time hanging out inside. Hosts are so incredibly friendly and amazing!!

Amazing views and peaceful home but still close to any activity, retail or dining. Very clean & comfortable home with many seating options for privacy or small group conversations. The spa and pool were very clean and heating the spa was a quick and easy process. Ryan was very responsive and pleasant during the entire process and would not hesitate to book this home again.

This is one of the best airbnbs I’ve ever had! Super warm and cozy interior! I like everything in the house! The beds are wonderful, soft and supportive! The location is private with unpaved road. Close to Joshua Tree national Park!

We had such a unique and memorable stay at this Joshua Tree house! The vibe was the perfect mix of cozy and retro—one of our favorite parts was definitely getting to use the vintage VHS player. It brought back so much nostalgia, and we spent the evenings watching old scary movies with popcorn and blankets. It was such a fun way to unwind after exploring the desert all day. My kids definitely enjoyed playing in the plunge pool. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed. The attention to detail in the decor really gave it character, and the location was perfect—secluded enough to enjoy the stars at night but still close to the park and local spots. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for something a little different with lots of charm. We’ll definitely be back (and probably bringing a few more VHS tapes next time)!

We enjoyed our time at The Home Sweet Homesteader so much that we extended our stay! Michael and Jenna are awesome hosts and very responsive and kind. The house is thoughtfully decorated, cozy, and clean. The patio is amazing- a fireplace and outdoor tub with a magical view for sunrise and sunset. The location is private yet convenient to Pioneertown, Integratron, Joshua Tree, and Twentynine Palms. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

We loved our stay! There was plenty of activities to do at the house and the pool and hot tub were fantastic. The location is in great proximity to Joshua Tree and close enough to town to make a quick run for something but far enough out to be relaxing and peaceful. We had a wonderful stay here! The place was beautiful and we esp loved relaxing in the hammocks and chilling in the jacuzzi under the stars. Host was fantastic — super nice, proactive, and easy to communicate with. The handbook with local recs was really helpful and made exploring the area so much easier and more fun. As expected for a desert location, there were some bugs and the water pressure was a bit low, but that didn’t take away from the overall experience. Truly an amazing place with amazing hosts. Would absolutely come back!

Better than the pictures! Everything was perfectly clean and organized with all the necessities provided. You can’t beat being able to relax in the hot tub while looking up at the stars.

Me and my fiancée spent our 8 year anniversary here and we had such a good time. It was a little vacation that felt like home away from home. Our host was so communicative and responded our messages so friendly and quickly. Our favorite part was the hammock under the stars.

Really wonderful find in the desert. Truly remote and off the beaten path but a lovely oasis. Heather was accommodating and very responsive to all of my questions leading up to the trip.

The holiday house is the perfect remote getaway. You'll find everything you need to make an amazing meal in the kitchen. You can get lost in the beautiful art all around the gardens and inside the house. The 360° views of the landscape are absolutely breathtaking and the night sky is otherworldly. This is by far my favorite stay out in the high desert.

I 100% recommend staying here! Such a beautiful home. The weather was perfect to take a swim and relax in the outdoor bathtub! Looks exactly like the photos if not better! The quick responses from Ben and Andrea were super helpful just one text away from answering any questions.

I’ve stayed a bunch of different places in the area, and this is definitely my favorite so far! Clean, easy, felt safe, etc. I stop just for the night on long drives (I arrive at night and leave early morning), so I can’t speak to cooking in the kitchen, using the tv projector, etc., but the shower was hot, and the enclosed yard is perfect for a dog. Thanks, and I’ll be back!

Simon’s place was clean and beautiful and just as described! We sat outside and watched as the sunset and we enjoyed the most incredible starry night. I was so fortunate to book this place! Make sure your car can handle dirt roads and definitely don’t go down George Road because of soft sand. Also, my maps didn’t show Judy road so you’ll just have to keep an eye out. Other than that, there were plenty of towels, everything worked, they had shower essentials and everything was pristine, wish we could’ve stayed longer.

The place was amazing ! We have everything we needed! Mary Ann was also amazing! She even gave us separate directions to get to her place easily without using gps. We can’t wait to go back with our friends!
