Beautiful, new (2020) thatched villa with water on two sides and private dock. 4 double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with sink, shower and toilet. Air conditioning . Huge terrace on the water, partly covered and heated. Fireplace, both inside and outside. Large open kitchen with all appliances (2 refrigerators, combi steamer, dishwasher, ice maker, Nespresso, filter coffee machine, etc.). Our luxurious dune villa 'Sela' is overlooking the Engelsman dune, one of the highest dunes of Ameland Island. When dining in the evening, the light of the lighthouse will ensure a stunning island feeling. A fresh dive in the morning is available at the very rustic beach at the other side of the dunes (about 15 minutes walk). Our house has 5 bedrooms, a great living room with a (gas) fireplace, a cosy kitchen with kitchen island, a beautiful dining room and a ‘spa’ with sauna and tanning bed.

Our cozy Nordic-style house is perfect for up to 4 guests, it's sits right on the canal, offering breathtaking views of the water and pasture. Enjoy direct access to the water, complete with swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking, and fishing opportunities. A jetty is also available for boat docking. With numerous bicycle routes in the area, take in the surrounding nature and beauty. Note: From 28th June to 30th August, bookings only on a weekly basis, with check-in and check-out only on Fridays.

Take a step back in this unique, soothing accommodation. You will sleep in a great place, away from the inhabited world and on the water. You can enjoy the vast landscape and the tranquility with a beautiful sunset. Experience it for yourself and enjoy the tranquility! From the terrace you can go straight to the water in one of our canoes and in the morning there are fresh eggs. We are happy that we can welcome guests again after a long period of renovation. We now live in the back yard.

This waterfront holiday home is close to the beautiful village Gaastmeer. The home was fully renovated in 2014 and is suitable for 8 persons. The home is unique because of its waterfront location, it is the great starting point for beautiful walks, sailing and cycling routes and sightseeing in Friesland and the Netherlands. Just step outside and you can jump on your windsurf board or dinghy! Also, you can bring your own boat or rent one nearby.

In 2022, we built our vacation home in this unique location and have all the comforts! Whether you're cooking together in the luxury kitchen, or hanging out on the couch for the wood-burning stove, you'll notice the intimate atmosphere and the beautiful inviting light. The house is located directly on open water and has a large veranda. With the village and beach within cycling distance, this is a wonderful place to recharge.
