Gorgeous location with a fabulous view and a deck to enjoy it. A Four Square nearby and a few restaurants (an excellent Indian place in Kaeo). We had a fantastic stay over the long weekend

This is our second stay here, and we are drawn to this peaceful area not only for its serenity but also for its stunning views. Additionally, the house is impeccably clean. We also extended our stay by an extra day on short notice, and Debbie was instrumental in accommodating our request. It is a fabulous place to stay for families and the additional equipment that they have for the families to use is amazing. The setting is glorious and outlook is stunning. The Bay its self is very safe for children to undertake water activities. The hosts were lovely and went above and beyond with additional options for linen because of the rainy weather conditions. We would have no hesitation in booking to stay again.

We were a group of three couples (six people total), so we booked a place with three bedrooms to comfortably accommodate everyone. Sophie’s place turned out to be a great choice — all of us were very satisfied with the stay. One thing I had overlooked before booking was that there is only one bathroom (toilet, shower, and hand washing all in one space), so we had to be mindful of taking turns to avoid overlaps. Also, there were no mirrors in the bedrooms, which made it a bit inconvenient when getting ready. It would be even better if mirrors were placed inside the wardrobes or somewhere in the rooms. Only one of the three bedrooms had an oil heater, so the couple staying in that room were a bit envious by the others. ;-) Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and we’d be happy to come back the next time we travel to this area.

Maree and Troy's oasis is Wonderful. Our whanau felt very blessed to stay at this lovely Home. So many lovely details in the house and everything felt luxe. Thank you for sharing your piece of heaven with us.

Our family of 7 thoroughly enjoyed our stay, our little ones enjoyed exploring the house and the cove which was only a 1min stroll down. The photos don’t do it justice, even more spectacular in person. We were blessed with some beautiful weather so it made the views even more beautiful! We had a lovely stay – the house was perfect for our group, with plenty of space and a great layout. It’s well-equipped, beautifully located, and the views are stunning. Despite the wild weather, it was a relaxing place to unwind. We were lucky with sunshine on our last day and made the most of the lawn, trampoline, and pool. The house isn’t a show home and could use a refresh in places, but it’s comfortable, homely, and ideal for groups. Communication was easy and everything was as described. Would absolutely stay again – I bet it's even better in sunny weather!

Anika was a fantastic host and the house is close to so many cute shops and cafes.

Diane’s place was absolutely lovely! The service was above and beyond, the place was nice and cosy. It was super convenient being right off the highway, but so quiet you couldn’t tell. Beautiful fruit trees on the property. The hosts were available and friendly but also gave us our space.

We can’t wait to come back here. We were four couples, two young children. The house and facilities gave everyone plenty of space to relax and enjoy time together. It’s a great space with plenty to do.

The cottage has a gorgeous view - such a treat to wake up to it every morning. Really spacious and ideal for a couple. Short drive away from some amazing beaches. Thank you, Kathy!

We came up from Auckland for a wedding & the property was local to everything The property was great and both Rob & his wife were lovely. We barely seen them so we decided to go say hello down at their Phat House bar in haruru. We had a couple of nephews come and visit while we were up aswell . Catching up with whanau and coming back to relax there was lovely .

This is very nice place to stay. A quiet area with some good walks. My situation was a little different as I wasn't on holiday and wanted somewhere quiet and reasonably close to the hospital where I was visiting my husband each day. The property is off the road and there are auto gates. As I was on my own this made me feel very safe - on top of which Genevieve was in the main house a lot of the day. It was comfortable and cosy (given my stay was during the winter) and Genevieve and her husband went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Thoroughly recommend and if I ever need to be in Whangarei for any length of time I hope I can use this accommodation again.

Our family had a lovely and peaceful stay. Our relationship with Jane and Craig was very easy and pleasant, making us feel right at home. We especially appreciated being able to bring our dog. Thank you for providing such a wonderful and welcoming stay

Quite and serene place to relax and unwind. Pahia town center is about 30 minutes drive. Experienced beautiful night sky full of stars.

Great house at great location. House is clean and uncluttered. Tonya was fantastic to deal with and accomodating.

The house is lovely, large and so comfortable — with views from every room! The location is extraordinary. Easy to walk 2 min into the charming town with everything you need and lots of things to do all around. But it’s nice just to sit on the porch and take it all in. It is truly a magic place and Lyn’s home is the most welcoming and wonderful place to be! We hope to come back!

A modular bach with lots of separate rooms, older but has everything you need. Right across the road from the beach on a quiet street at Hihi. Easy care, extra hot in the sun, lots of comfort. Excellent communication from a great host.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Te Whare. The home was warm, inviting, and had all the charm you'd expect from a classic beachside bach. Even our fur baby had a great time! While the property isn't fenced, there was plenty of space for him to run around and play with the mokos. This is the perfect spot for anyone wanting to relax and soak up the beauty of Ahipara. We’ll definitely be back!
