The town of Wehlen is located in the Upper Elbe Valley in the heart of Saxon Switzerland National Park. The tranquil health resort looks back on almost 800 years of history. The market house is a historic gem and is a listed building, designated as the first hostel of Saxon Switzerland. The house frames the market square in the reflection of the market church below the historic castle ruin. The vaulted cellars date back to 1527, while the main house was built in 1734 in the Franconian half-timbered style.

Ihr sucht Ruhe und Entspannung, dann sind seit ihr genau richtig bei uns. Goßdorf ist in ruhiger kleiner Ort und ein Ortsteil von Hohnstein. In ca.13 Fahrminuten erreichen ihr das Elbtal in Bad Schandau , die Bastei und die Festung Königstein in ca.20 Fahrminuten. Direkt von der Haustür können ihr loswandern. Im Ort selbst finden ihr ein Freibad mit großer Liegewiese, welches ihr kostenfrei nutzen können. Ausflugstipps/Wanderbeschreibungen halten wir für euch in der Ferienwohnung bereit.

The apartment on the top floor is truly unique. It is located on the second floor and and the entire place has been restored to original building. The original roof wooden frame, exposed brickwork, original flooring, fully functional wooden stove helps you to imagine what people lived like at the beginning of last century. The main living area is facing the front of the house and therefor you will find a view on the town square, town house and the famous basalt rock “Jehla”.
