House holiday rentals in Hobart

What a wonderful place to stay for a couple of days R&R or an extended holiday. We were a group of seven who had been travelling around Tassie, playing golf. We had two nights here for a lovely rest, and what a fabulous place to do just that. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. We really didn't need to leave the house as there was plenty to do there, either relaxing by the fire, playing pool or relaxing in the spa and pool. The house is perfect for a group of friends or a family reunion for a holiday or a few days catch up. I would recommend this property to anyone. We had a great stay at Vicki’s property. We loved the hot spa after a day exploring the area and the fireplace to sit in front of and relax. A very comfortable home with local wallabies and some chickens on site. The early wake up by the rooster took a bit of getting used to but otherwise very quiet and peaceful.

Lovely large clean and tidy home a short drive from Hobart. We particularly loved the views!

This is an outstanding property with a wonderful and responsive host. We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The house is very private and well appointed, maintained and stocked with quality produce and supplies - we were also welcomed by a beautiful hamper, and warm service. The property itself has stunning views from almost every window. We enjoyed using the gym (located in an adjacent private building which can also be used as a study), pool and spa. We had a few things on our list to visit for the Huon Valley but were very content to stay at the house and enjoy all the amenities. We would most definitely return here when visiting Tasmania.

Great location for family or friends to get together. Literally walk out the door onto a beautiful beach. Plenty of outdoor amenities available incl swimming pool, tennis, basketball hoop, billiards, kayaks etc. Quiet and peaceful area, but close to airport and to Hobart so very convenient. Great communication from Julie in advance who also met us on arrival and showed us in. Thank you for a great stay.

We had an excellent few days with our family at Marina’s house. The house is simple with large rooms and lots of space indoor and out. The view is lovely and ever changing and the kids loved the ducks and native hens. An ideal place for a family gathering.

Chantelle was absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful. I had a lot of questions, both for myself and on behalf of the group. Chantelle was always quick to respond and happy to assist. Her communication was excellent, and she was flexible with our check-in times, which really helped accommodate our busy schedule. The house itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. It was so well-equipped, down to all the essentials, which made staying in really enjoyable and convenient. I’d definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Tassie.☺️

Gorgeous spacious home for a group or family. Comfortable beds. Lots of kitchen utensils, crockery and cookware to easily make any meals in-house if wanting to. Warm floor seating throughout making it feel very cosy for houw large the space is.

Kerry and Marcelo’s home was just like the photos — warm, beautifully decorated, and super comfortable. It really felt like a home away from home. Every time we needed something, we somehow found it already there, which made our stay feel so thoughtful and easy. Thank you both for creating such a lovely space — we’d love to come back one day!

Fantastic space, absolutely loved staying here and it felt just like home. Close to plenty of activities and dining, also being private and tucked away to feel comfortable at night. Will definitely recommend!

It was clear that the hosts take great pride in maintaining a space that is not only functional but also welcoming and relaxing. The location is perfect—ideally situated for both relaxation and exploration. Whether it was enjoying a morning coffee with a spectacular view or heading out for a day of sightseeing, everything we needed was easily accessible. The views were truly breathtaking, offering a peaceful and scenic backdrop that added so much to the overall experience. Whether it was sunrise or sunset, the natural beauty surrounding the property was something we looked forward to each day.

This cottage is exactly as described! Has everything one would need for a cozy spot for 1 or 2! If you don't want to walk Uber is available.

Beautiful house. Good location and Antonia was very easy to communicate with…. The only thing I will say is just be aware if you’re a taller person that some of the doors ways are quite short, my boyfriend is 6ft and hit his head a couple times along the way.

We had a great few days stay at Eddie’s place. The property is super comfortable, and a lovely space to live. We were blessed with great weather and got to enjoy afternoon sun flooding the rear living space most days. We felt very welcome, and appreciated the great communication, and Brendan was very helpful in letting us drop off our luggage when we arrived early, before our checkin time.! Location is perfect, walking distance to most things we wanted to do, and amazing restaurants close by. We’ll definitely be back to stay again soon! Thanks so much!

Was an absolute pleasure staying here. Host was super responsive, letting us do an early check in and a late check out. (even asking if we wanted one before I had even asked, super proactive). Would highly recommend to anyone heading to Hobart.

Karen was a wonderful host for our girls trip of 7 people. The house was stunning, very spacious but also warm and cosy and had everything we needed. Well stocked kitchen, beautiful views out over the river, location was very convenient for exploring Hobart and the Coal Valley and there was a supermarket nearby for supplies. Karen and Tony were super responsive in their communications and very flexible in allowing us early access. The perfect hosts. Would highly recommend staying here.

Our recent 3-night stay at this charming Airbnb in North Hobart was absolutely delightful, and we couldn't recommend it more highly! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house itself is a true gem – beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail seemed to have been thought of, from the cosy bedding to the well-equipped kitchen. We especially loved the comfortable lounge area. It truly felt like a home away from home, rather than just a rental. The location in North Hobart was perfect for exploring. We loved being able to stroll to the vibrant street for dinner each night. It offered the perfect blend of tranquillity and accessibility. Our host was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Highly recommended.

We were lucky enough that there was a last minute booking available, my partner and I were camping and in desperate need of a refresh. The cottage was the perfect place to reset while also still feeling as if we were out in the open as we were surrounded by breathtaking scenery and the most adorable animals. We felt very welcomed as Michelle showed us around the home and gave fantastic recommendations for food and activities in the area when we checked in, and she gave us plenty of privacy for our stay. The cottage is stocked with plenty of furnishings and accessories to make it feel like a home away from home, and the fresh milk left for us in the fridge was delicious. Thank you so much for the most relaxing stay and we will definitely book again when we come back to Tassie 😊

It was the first time in Tasmania for our family, and Robyn's mansion is definitely one of the best part of our trip. the mansion itself is located in a very peaceful area which is not very faraway from Hobart city, with an impressive scenic lakeview around the house. Robyn made sure every instructions are well-prepared for us therefore we had no problem checking-in, and she is very responsive when we needed help. In the morning after we arrived, we had a problem with the coffee machine and we reached out for help which Robyn replied and get the problem solved right away. after we went back from the town in the evening we found a new set of coffee machine and capsules for us, we were very impressive on how helpful and responsive she is toward us. to conclude our review, I would totally recommend this well-deserved home for vacation. The host is very friendly and helpful. We had a very good time here, truly a sanctuary and this place made us fall in love with Tasmania. Thank you!

This place is amazing: beautiful views from the balcony, comfortable beds, BBQ (which made our dinners) and easy and fast communication with Kev and Linda. We spent four nights in Kev’s apartments and we did not want to leave, as we felt there like at home. Kev and Linda provided everything we needed for our stay (fresh bread and milk was a good addition). It was nice to see kangaroos from the balcony during the day. One point to mention is that you need a car or you need to like walking uphill to get to this wonderful place as it is located up the hill (that is why the view is fantastic).
