Cabin holiday rentals in Hjørundfjorden

We stayed here for our honeymoon and WOW what an amazing place. The views from the cabin are insane, we were snowed in for a few days but the cabin was the perfect place for a few slow days! Ellen-Kristine and Bjørn we're really helpful and quick to respond when we had any questions. They even got a friendly neighbour to check we were ok when the unexpected snow arrived! For outdoor activities the location is perfect, Stranda itself is very quiet, it's a fairly long drive (40mins) for any nice restaurants, but that was fine with us!

We had such a wonderful time at this cabin! It was perfect for our small group of friends. We really enjoyed the breathtaking view while preparing meals in the kitchen, grilling in the gazebo, and relaxing in the hot tub. Hanne and Ole were very hospitable and the communication was excellent before during and after our stay. We hope to all visit again soon!

Wat een heerlijk verblijf hebben wij hier gehad. kon een dagje vroeger komen dan voorzien door het gewoon te vragen. hier komt men echt tot rust. Pia reageert ook echt altijd wel snel en duidelijk. het is hier al besloten wij komen terug 🥰

Die Unterkunft ist einfach perfekt - alles entspricht den Fotos. Die Hütte ist groß, komfortabel und gut ausgestattet mit toller Lage und einem wundervollen Blick in die Berge. Der Kontakt zu den Gastgebern war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Hot-Tub ist noch das Tüpfelchen auf dem I - wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

An absolutely amazing place to stay - the easiest 5-star review I’ve ever given! Breathtaking views from this beautiful and secluded cabin. The hot tub and fire pit are wonderful and the entire property is gorgeous, just like you can see in the photos. Two things to be aware of: 1) It’s a 3-4 min hike down to the cabin from the road where you park, but the hosts provided clear instructions for where to park and were super helpful in bringing our luggage down and back up during check-in and check-out. 2) There is another cabin right next to this one which the hosts also rent out. During the weekend that my wife and I were here, there was nobody staying in the other cabin so the area was a private oasis for us. Worth keeping in mind though that you’ll be sharing the space with others a bit though if anyone is staying in the other cabin. It’s a beautiful place and absolutely lives up to the photos in the listing. The hosts are helpful, friendly, and speak good English. 5/5!

Fint opphold i flott hytte. Tydelig rutiner for bruk og enkel kommunikasjon. Vi hadde ei veldig fin langhelg her med gode skimuligheter.

Een zalig verblijf met een fantastisch uitzicht. Een plaats waar je echt tot rust komt. Wij hebben het bootje gehuurd om rond te varen in het fjord en het was werkelijk geweldig! Zeker een aanrader!

Min mand og jeg har haft den skønneste tur på den helt fantastiske hytte <3, vi endte også med at forlenge vores ophold fordi der var så skønt, så 6 amazinge dage, vi kommer helt sikkert tilbake :) Alt var perfekt. Wow for et sted!! Vi gleder os til neste besøk der:-) takk for det hele.

En helt utrolig koselig og gjennomført hytte utstyrt med alt en måtte trenge. Rent og fint, og en unik vakker beliggenhet! 10/10! Hit kommer vi gjerne tilbake:)

Loved my stay at this accommodation, beautiful surroundings and was so relaxing. House felt like such a home and we were provided so many great recommendations for what to do during our stay. The host was very helpful and friendly, and she would always reply within minutes to any queries we had.

Sehr schöne und gemütliche Hütte mit viel Platz, die zum verweilen einlädt. Die Terasse bietet einen traumhaften Blick über den Fjord. Die Fotos zeigen die Hütte bei weitem nicht so gut wie sie eigentlich ist.

Heel erg fijn huisje met (lage) afspanning rond de tuin. De honden hebben zich hier erg kunnen amuseren. Verder was het huisje brandschoon bij aankomst en goed uitgerust qua luxe. Jammer dat we maar 2 dagen geboekt hadden, maar we moeten weer voort.

We stayed 8 days in Tore and Ann Turids Boathouse with our dog Smilla and our 13 months old daughter. Ann Turid was very kind and always quick in answering our questions. The house is well equipped and it is a magnificent scenery from the house. The weather was a little bit rough sometimes thats why we could not use a boat. Ann Turid was so kind to organize a nice boat trip with a very experienced and nice local fisher called Rune. Rune visited us after the boat trip on the boardwalk to give us tipps for fishing. We loved the area and the peacefulness of this lovely spot. We took a walk up to Kronknappen mountain on a good day. We love to come again.

Le logement de jorgen est très bien autant d'un point de vue emplacement que équipements. Il est situé dans une très belle vallée avec une rivière magnifique . Jorgen nous a laissé l'accès à un petit lac permettant la pêche. La proximité Hellesylt permet un bon ravitaillement et donne accès au ferry permettant d'aller visiter le Geiranger fjord . Nous recommandons grandement la chalet de Jorgen.

Einzigartiger Aufenthalt mit atemberaubender Umgebung. Die Hütte ist super gemütlich, warm und mit allem ausgestattet. Sigbjorn war stets erreichbar und hat sich um alles gekümmert. Absolute Empfehlung!

This was our second time staying at Liv Marit’s cabin. The first time, we stayed during summer. Coming back in late autumn was a different but equally magical experience! The cabin was very warm with the wood-burning stove, and we had a very cozy and pleasant stay. The scenery was just as beautiful in the cold rain as it was during the summer. Perhaps even more beautiful!

Marits Haus am Meer ist wirklich wunderschön, egal bei welchem Wetter! Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt, Marit war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Umgebung eignet sich hervorragend zum Wandern und dirket vor der eigenen Tür kann man vorallem bei Ebbe super schwimmen gehen. Ebenfalls sehr erwähnenswert ist die Sofaecke, die bei jedem Wetter der Favoritenplatz Nummer 1 war und sich bestens eignet um allerhand Tiere, Schiffe und Naturphänomene zu beobachten. Wir kommen gerne nochmal wieder und danken Marit und Gine für ihre Gastfreundschaft!

Possibly the best air BnB in terms of the quality of the hosting and overall experience. Communication is on point, Frode is extremely helpful & the chalet is full equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. A beautiful location, with panoramic views of the mountains, easy access (ski in/ski out) to the ski centre. We had a wonderful stay & we hope to have many more. Amazing experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Vi hadde et fantastisk opphold på denne hytta! Den var utrolig ren og godt vedlikeholdt, med en veldig koselig atmosfære som fikk oss til å føle oss hjemme med én gang. Veldig fin beliggenheten – hytta ligger i et vakkert fjellandskap, ideelt for både avslapning og turer i naturen. Vertene var også veldig hjelpsomme og svarte raskt på spørsmål. Vi kan varmt anbefale denne hytta til andre!

Ons verblijf bij Martin was geweldig! Super leuk en gezellig huisje met fantastisch uitzicht! De weg naar de airbnb kan soms moeilijk te bereiken zijn als je een lage auto hebt maar voor de rest is het goed te doen. Het huisje was super schoon en alle benodigdheden waren aanwezig. Ik zou de Airbnb van Martin zeker aanbevelen!

Veldig koselig sted å bo! Det var god plass til fire personer, og alt var rent og praktisk. Området rundt er fullt av vakre omgivelser og fine turmuligheter. Verten var veldig oppmerksom og hjelpsom – vi følte oss virkelig velkomne. Anbefales på det varmeste!

Jan-Oskar nous a très bien accueilli dans son chalet de montagne. L'endroit est idéal pour rayonner dans la zone et profiter des activités de la zone (randonnées, skis, etc.). Le chalet est grand et moderne. Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Jan-Oskar est bienveillant et il nous a très bien conseillé pour les activités à voir et à faire. Merci pour votre accueil !

Beautiful cottage. Had everything we needed. Very responsive host. We exceeded the 10GB limit on the internet and Leif was helpful in adding in the top up and was proactive in doing the same thing without asking the next day. Very thoughtful! Extremely beautiful view from the cottage!

Omgivelsene rundt er fantastiske. Da jeg hadde med turister som ville oppleve norsk natur, var dette perfekt med den lille hytta. Enkel standard, som vi ville ha, tradisjonsrik opplevelse på en vakker støyl. Fint at det var fiskevann i nærheten, og at man kunnne kjøre helt fram med bil, da vi denne gang bare hadde få timer tilgjengelig - og vêret var varierende. Hyggelige verter som var lett tilgjengelige. Anbefales!
