Je suis resté au Guesthouse pendant une semaine pour rédiger mon rapport une fois le travail terminé. C'était parfait à cet effet : très calme et idyllique - une petite oasis dans l'agitation haitienne. Même si les vagues n'étaient pas parfaites, le luxe de se trouver seul au pic était imbattable ! Joan, merci beaucoup pour la petite bleu, elle était super ! J'aurais aimé l'emporter avec moi ! Fortement recommandé!

Casa Melba is your home away from home! Ana and Charles were the perfect hosts at this gorgeous B&B tucked away in the most peaceful surroundings. The house was immaculate and had everything you could ask for including a delicious breakfast. Ana and Charles are like my family, very welcoming and very accommodating since I was traveling alone and didn’t know the area very well. They gave me a personal tour of the surrounding areas and must see sights. If you love being in nature and waking up to serenity this is the place for you! I felt like I was right at home and will definitely return and recommend this place to my friends!

Janet made our stay very comfortable and was accommodating even though there was a mixup in the number of guests. Her house is very beautiful.

El alojamiento de Samuel literalmente es un oasis en medio del Desierto. En las Dunas de Bani, en medio del desierto y un mar bravo, se encuentra este oasis lleno de frescura, vegetación, buena gente, buena vibra y excelente alojamiento. Amplio, cómodo, limpio, climatizado. Perfecto para parejas o pequeñas familias. Súper recomendado a cualquiera que ande en las zonas de Salinas, Dunas, Palmar de Ocoa, Peravia. Manos arriba para Samuel quien me Recibió personalmente y a su amable equipo.

This is my second time coming back to Haiti after more than 15 years and I have to say that I was extremely impressed. I got the flu right before I came to Haiti. I was extremely sick and honestly thought I wasn’t going to make it through the vacation. When I got to the Residences, I felt like I was home, back in the days. Honestly, no hotel would ever do what Benoit’s staff did. None! PERIODT! They brought and prepared all home medicine to make me feel better. From lemon juice to a mix of honey, and rhum to oignon mix with sugar and honey... Enough said, the staff actually cared for me like I was family. Every morning they would come to the room to check up on us and to bring us tea. My mother got the flu while I was there and got extremely sick too. Since we couldn’t eat solid food, they let us order off menu to have purée, soup and Haitian broth... they even boiled hot water with orange leaf so my mother could shower with it. Honestly, I can’t say enough how much they went above and beyond to ensure we felt better. The owner Mr. Benoit, personally came to our room to give us essential oil and suggested that we take a walk to breathe fresh air and get some sun. We were coughing, we had fever, nothing was working. He continued to enquire about my health and my mother’s. This is just about our sickness and how accommodating, caring and great the staff was. If you are looking for a place to rest, that is quiet, safe, very beautiful, breathtaking and very affordable, this is the place to go. It is too bad that we were sick the majority of our trip there, we would have enjoyed it a lot more since we mainly stayed in the bedroom sleeping. By the time we left, we were a lot better, still coughing but I had my voice back, and had no more fever and my mother could actually eat and stay awake. Honestly, great job Mr. Benoit and all your staff, particularly Lèlène. She is a gem. She definitely made a lasting impression on my mother and I. If I ever come back to Haiti, this is a given, I will absolutely book there again. Thank you again.

Massimo and Luce are great hosts the place is so peaceful in a beautiful neighborhood far from the noise but at ten min walk to all the restaurants and beaches of Sosua . Massimo and Luce gave us great recommendations of what to do they even organize the best excursions upon request the view of our terrace is amazing I highly recommend their place . Thank you ))

Everything about this place is great, the hosts are very responsive and staff friendly and helpful. Location is absolutely perfect and the property beautiful. A huge plus for me is that there are practically no hostels in this area and as a solo traveler, hostels are one of the best ways for me to meet new people, this place is like a hostel but with private rooms! I am very happy I ended up here and not another air bnb with no other guests!

Very nice and beautiful "boutique" hotel. Perfecty located, very close to El Conde - the main street in Zone Colonial. The hotel is very beautiful, historic, elegant, quiet, clean and comfortable. Management & staff are very helpful and friendly. Love the pool and rooftop terras with jacuzzi. My 3 night stay was just perfect. Highly recommended!

Nos ha encantado la experiencia, han sido unos anfitriones excelentes y súper atentos y la casa es una maravilla con vistas al mar, la playa ahí mismo y se podría decir que casi privada porque la teníamos solo para nosotros. Cocinan genial y comimos una paella muy española. La habitación tenía baño privado con ducha com vistas al mar, una maravilla! La cama super cómoda y oyendo la brisa. Recomendable 100%

Es un lugar muy tranquilo, con ambiente cálido, familiar, te sientes como en casa. La comida que prepara Felicia es muy deliciosa, conoces la gastronomía típica del país, con un toque italiano, los anfitriones son muy atentos y serviciales. Tiene una excelente vista al mar. This stay was everything I needed and more. From the moment I arrived, the hosts made me feel so welcome, it was like stepping into a home filled with warmth and kindness. As someone who loves solo travel, feeling safe and at peace is super important to me, and this place gave me exactly that. Waking up and being able to walk 30 seconds to the beach was like a dream! I spent my mornings reading, meditating, and working on my laptop by the ocean. Plus, they have a bicycle, which made it easy to explore the area and ride to the little community nearby. And the food… wow. Their Italian restaurant is next level. I had breakfast, Pizza and spaghetti that tasted straight out of a five-star restaurant. Everything was fresh, authentic, and made with love. Beyond the beach, the food, and the comfy stay (AC, Wi-Fi, all the good stuff), what really made this special was the energy. The place is at the heart of Zona Colonial and it's great: the rooms are beautiful and clean, the bathrooms are comfortable and modern, the monuments and museums are close, the restaurants and shops as well. The staff was very kind and always trying to make us feel like home; from the front desk to the breakfast ladies, they were super sweet and kind! Everything is as described and like the pictures, totally worth it :) If you want to taste a bit of Santo Domingo, the mix of fancy and normal people, the colonial heritage, and have a good place to rest, this is your place. I recommend Studio27 not only for the facilities but also for the people, and I would love to come back soon!

This was not my first stay at Ron’s place—and it definitely won’t be the last! Ron is incredibly kind, accommodating, and always available if you need anything. From the moment you arrive, you feel right at home, even though it’s a private room. The space is comfortable, welcoming, and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. One of my favorite parts is the balcony facing the beach—perfect for morning coffee or winding down in the evening. The private beachfront is a dream, and there are some great restaurants just a short walk away. If you prefer a pool day, the complex has a beautiful private pool that’s just as inviting. And of course, I can’t forget Paradise—Ron’s adorable little dog who’s truly the sweetest hostess. She adds such a warm, friendly vibe to the whole experience. Highly recommend staying here. It’s a special place that keeps calling me back! Ron has become family to us. Thanks uncle Ron! Adam and Kennedy
