Only a short walk away from the world famous Challenge Roth triathlon. 20 minutes drive to Nuremberg. Our place is very cosy, it is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids). We offer a welcome pack to our guests, coffee, tea and biscuits. Das 1000 Jahre alte Schloss bietet eine besondere Herberge im Fränkischen Seenland. The massive garden cottage is an independent small accommodation [approx. 19 sqm], close to nature in our garden behind our house, with toilet and sink for up to 3 people; no shower, no kitchen! Kettle, instant coffee and various teas available. Baby travel cot available on request. We rent two more guest rooms in the house. There is a guest bathroom available. Hilpoltstein is a small town near the Rothsee in the Franconian Lake District.

Very nicely decorated and clean apartment. There are also very many opportunities for leisure activities nearby, which were easily accessible due to the good location of the apartment. The contact with the landlady was easy and you always got a quick response. We felt very comfortable ☺️

We were very warmly welcomed by the neighbor Annika. She showed us everything and was there for us when needed. There was nothing missing in the house. Sheets and towels were provided. Even the most necessary things in the kitchen, such as spices and coffee/tea, were there🤩. In cool temperatures, you can sustainably heat with a pellet stove. The house is very quiet and secluded in a forest clearing. A little difficult to reach without a car. The city center of Nuremberg is about 30 minutes away by car. The nearby Rothsee, about 10 minutes away, invites you to swim in warm weather. We will be happy to come back. Maybe even for longer? Thanks Emma and Annika for the hospitality! 🥳

A small jewelry box! If you love peace and nature, this is the place for you. The facility is very lovingly designed and the garden beautifully laid out. In 10 minutes on foot you are at the beautifully landscaped natural swimming pool. Freystadt is also worth a visit. I will definitely visit this idyllic spot again.
