We had a wonderful stay despite the weather being a bit against us. The accommodation is complete and equipped with all comforts. Good bed, complete kitchen, wonderful shower. Location in nature. Great for walking and cycling. Contact with host was very pleasant. Repeatable. Petri and René

Rarely seen such a beautiful place to stay! The house is so cozy, lovingly and tastefully furnished. You feel right at home! And the garden is simply a dream. Right next to the forest, so you can hear the birds in the morning and evening. I'm sure we'll be back!

Very nice base to explore Sneek and its surroundings. Quiet neighborhood with a nice terrace and you are in the center in no time. The cottage was very clean and equipped with every comfort. Gea is a nice, friendly host. In short: recommended!

We enjoyed the time very much and did many small bike rides. The accommodation is beautiful, quiet and very idyllically located. However, we would not stay in the property again with 5 adults. The loft bed is more suitable for children and unfortunately we were not able to sleep so well, as there was no air coming up under the roof at night (despite the open window) and it became very warm and stuffy. With children, you can definitely recommend the accommodation! :)

What a fantastic place! The house is wonderfully spacious, tasteful and well furnished – really everything has been thought of. The location is super quiet, ideal for completely unwinding. Everything was neat and clean upon arrival. We greatly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended – we will definitely be back!

Enjoying a weekend away with two 4-month-old babies. Nice house, nice garden with grass to relax in and above all a lot of enjoyment of the area and its nature and history. Thanks to tips from Miranda, we can discover new things in the area.

We were 14 adults who wanted a place to stay to spend time together and get to know the area. The space was perfect for that. Upon arrival, we noticed that the photos make the size appear smaller. So there is still a lot more space. Everything was available for everyday life, even for the grill! We were also allowed to check in and out a little earlier, which made the trip less stressful. Thank you for everything!

Lovely host and lovely place! If you want to visit Giethoorn stay here. The place is very cosy and sourroundings are calm and beautiful. You can rent a boat just down the road and experience the quieter parts of Giethoorn. Els was very kind and helpful. Thanks for having us :)

It was just great! One of the most beautiful accommodations we have visited so far. With so much attention to detail, Janet and Auke have created a feel-good oasis that leaves nothing to be desired. A beautiful, modern accommodation that is beautifully furnished and had everything and more to offer than we wanted for a relaxing weekend. The highlight here is the breakfast, which is prepared with so much love. The organization and communication was simply great, so that we immediately felt comfortable with our hostess Jitske. Great books available, inspiring. And the choice of music is also interesting and original. The house has everything you need, well maintained, but not superfluous or confusingly large. Atmospherically decorated, candles and beautiful light. It is as neat as if it were a private household. We are fans of the island cottage!

We had a wonderful weekend at Sjoerdsje and Lennard's place! Top location! Clean, tidy and practically furnished. We had everything we needed! The communication was also smooth and they were very friendly. We will definitely come back!

Great place to stay, nice beds and furniture, fully equipped kitchen. Jan was very helpful and responsive. Only thing to take into account is payed parking in Harlingen (€10 for a day pass on nearby parking lot)

I absolutely enjoyed my stay in Lily’s place. Tastefully decorated in blue and white, new bathroom, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, good welcome and instruction leaflet in several languages, great balcony and view of the IJsselmeer and your own parking spot in the back. If you don’t have children I wouldn’t stay in this area during the school holidays as it will be busy and noisy. Now it was perfect, quiet and peaceful and would definetely recommend staying in this lovely apartment.

Had a great stay! Great location within walking distance of central Groningen. Very clean and cosy. Loved the little patio. We hope we can come back soon.

Compact studio equipped with everything you need, with beautiful garden and view of the church. Piet Paaltjens lived in the rectory, his poem on the wall. Quiet environment, lots to see, good base. Yfke and Henk are very friendly and have created a beautiful place. Repeatable!

We had a wonderful vacation in a very good neighborhood. Natalie's apartment had Nordic flair and we immediately felt comfortable. As a host, you couldn't ask for a better one than Natalie. She always responded quickly and kindly. Everything was great and we can go back to everyday life relaxed and with good memories (even if it is difficult🫣)
