Welcome to Sandvika! Here you find a peaceful place near a sandy beach, with great views. We rent out a small boat with a motor and oars, upon request (150 per day plus fuel that can be purchased at the nearest gas station), which is located by its own floating dock by the house. Surrounding the house are plenty of space. Here you'll find a fire pit and outdoor furniture,. On foot are nice trips. By car you reach hiking destinations like Runde, Flø, Sunnmørsalpane and Ålesund. No pets, no wifi, closest grocery store 5 minutes by car.

A great starting point for an active family in our “wooden castle” by the fjord! Lots of hiking opportunities, fishing, swimming, kayaking, or just relaxing with a book in the hammock. The house is located some distance from the nearest neighbor, which makes you extra close to animal and bird life. If you're lucky, you'll see the otter family, sea eagles, herons, orbird, orvjo from the kitchen window. Short drive to the bird mountain on Runde, water park in Fosnavåg and countless day trips in mountains or feather!

Enjoy the stillheita and the fresh air and the sound of birdsong and animals in the pasture and a fantastic view. "Where no one should think that there could be a great starting point for mountain hiking such as Hissegga, Sollida or a trip to Runde, Ålesund, Volda or other sights. If you want to fish in the water or sea, we will make arrangements for it..welcome diving.

Romantic farm stay, perfect for families & friends

Brekkegarden is situated in Gjerdsvika, along the beautiful coast line just north of West Cape. The house was built in 1893, and whilst fully restored, all the original elements of the building, including timber walls, are retained. The farms' natural beauty is outstanding, including rose gardens, a stream running through, and plentiful opportunities for walks and excursions. We warmly welcome all guests. The farm is particularly well suited for families and lovers of traditional architecture.

Cottage by the lake

Large and modern cabin, right by the sea in idyllic Tjørvåg. The cabin has large external terraces that are great for barbecue and play. Large salt water jacuzzi. Good fishing and swimming facilities in the sea, as well as comfortable mountains if you want a little trim. It is a short distance to Fosnavåg or Ulsteinvik which has many restaurants and shops. Sunnmørsbadet (water park) is located about 13-14 min drive from the cabin. Want to rent out at least two days at a time.

Fern hut

Treat yourself to rest and quiet. Here you can enjoy the tranquility of the mountains with beautiful panoramic views and sunshine from morning till late evening. The cabin has a living room with a dining area, a small kitchen equipped with a stove top, an oven, and a small refrigerator. There are two bedrooms with room for four. The living room has a sofa bed that can accommodate two people. The cabin also has a fully equipped bathroom. Parking is 200m from the cabin.
