Holiday rentals with beach access in Hermosa Beach

This property was our family's favourite in their entire trip to California. The place is exactly what it looks like. It's gorgeous, well-maintained and walking distance from the beach. It has plenty of amenities too. If you plan to cook your own food, you might have to drive a little or door dash your groceries. We really enjoyed our stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at M’s place in the Venice Canals. So lovely and serene, such a good location. It’s within walking distance to Venice Beach and easy to get around LA via uber. Very safe area too, lots of dog walkers and people walking through the canals but quiet and peaceful at night. Inside was equally lovely with a large bathroom and comfortable bedding. Overall we would definitely recommend this stay 💚

John was a great host. Very accommodating- even took the time to meet prior to booking to determine if my vehicle could be parked there. Friendly & and a great communicator, I would 100% book again if I found myself in the area for work.

The place is in a great spot. Walkable to the beach and restaurants. If you’re a super early sleeper there’s some noise from the nearby restaurants and bars. But they really quiet down at a reasonable time. We had no issues. The parking spot as we understood it won’t fit a full size suv width wise. There should be street parking. But double check with the host of you have a big car. The bed was a bit soft for me but every one prefers different mattresses. Great host. Very responsive.

Location location location.. This is a great place for 2 guests who want to walk around the area and just relax at the beach. This is the second time staying here and it is perfect for what I'm looking for.

We had a wonderful stay! Bradley and his father, Robert, were truly exceptional hosts—friendly, welcoming, and super responsive. Robert greeted us upon arrival and immediately made us feel at home, which we deeply appreciated. The space was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location couldn’t be better—walking distance to restaurants, the supermarket, and the beach. If you love walkability, this is the perfect spot in Manhattan Beach! Everything about our five-day stay was smooth and relaxing. We’re so grateful for the care and attention we received, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!

Darci is an amazing host. Everything was spelled out. Her place was comfortable and the kitchen had every cooking item we needed. We cook alot and it was refreshing to have what we needed plus the kitchen and counter space was spacious. The outside patio and firepit were a huge plus. We sat out there every night. The description says that it's shared, but no one came out while we were there. Her son was there when we we arrived. He was extremely friendly and helpful. The location is wonderful, just a few blocks from the beach and few blocks from Buccatos (a great little deli/grocery store). We loved her place it and would definitely stay again.

What a treasure - we got to live like royalty for 5 days! A house a few blocks from the beach, a gorgeous home with breathtaking views, a friendly community with lots of local vibe and charm, and great places to eat and shop. We couldn’t have enjoyed this stay more. Thank you so much for letting us share your delightful home! Great kitchen and laundry, comfy beds, luxurious bathrooms, and everything we needed for the beach. Fell asleep to the waves crashing at night. Amazing!

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The home was incredibly clean, airy, and beautifully maintained, it felt like a breath of fresh air the moment I walked in. The backyard was a true oasis, perfect for relaxing and unwinding after a day of exploring. The neighborhood was quiet, peaceful, and well kept, which made my stay even more enjoyable. It was also conveniently located close to Calabasas, which made getting around super easy. I would definitely stay here again, highly recommend!

The house is great! Tons of things provided like stocked bathroom cabinet and snacks which is definitely not always the case. Excellent hosts.

We had a great time! Debra is so friendly and helpful, and the property is absolutely beautiful. My daughter got married and we made her flower arrangements and bouquet in the patio area. Debra made us some delicious lemonade, fresh from her tree out front. It was a very relaxing mini vacation. So close to everything, beach, shopping, food, groceries. There were boogie boards and beach towels available, but we didn't use them.

The neighborhood location is super - very close to the great Lazy Acres grocery store and just a couple minute drive to the beach and local restaurants. The space is very clean and comfortable, especially for the size. Great appliances and layout of the space for a 1-person stay. Two people would be find for a few days but perhaps a bit tight for longer stays. Excellent to have parking available in the driveway with easy access to the space!

Enjoyed our stay! Great location - walking distance to nearby restaurants, coffee shops, stores and beach. Additional shopping and restaurants in Downtown Manhattan Beach, as well as the Manhattan Beach Pier are an easy mile walk down the Strand. Bonus to have a 2-car garage. The house was very nice . . . very comfortable bed. We enjoyed sitting on the rooftop deck with a nice view of the ocean. We had a small issue at check-in but Charles was quick to respond and resolve the issue.

Great place to stay! Clean and specious. Not just it’s about 3-5 minutes walk to the beach, but it’s a very nice beach- beautiful, clean with bathrooms nearby. 17 minutes walk to Redondo pier. The house is also close to restaurants. Also, the host is very responsive and helpful! Highly recommend!

We had an extremely pleasant stay at Colin's place. So clean and well furnished . Everything needed for our stay was there including all ammenities even more than necessary. We will come back for our next stay in Los Angeles without a doubt. Host is extremely helpful, location is great, the layout of the house and garden is fantastic. Iit could not be better.

Sam and Amber are great hosts and their place is perfect for a few days Santa Monica and LA. It’s very close to the beach, pier and the 3rd street boulevard (shopping and restaurants). Both of them replied quickly and were always helpful. The apartment has everything you need and is well equipped. The free parking in a garage is a big plus! We would come back and can absolutely recommend the two and their apartment!

We had a great stay! The apartment was lovely and comfortable. It was near to places and people that we wanted to see while there. Cynthia was a very helpful and friendly host!

This was a beautiful place to stay. The place was spacious and right on the beach. There were 8 of us and the sleeping arrangements and dining area, accommodated everyone. There is a cute local coffee shop and market that is walking distance. Primarily the place is on the sand and the balcony faces the west so we got to watch the sunset in the evening from the comfort of the couch. Kristi was very responsive. We will definitely be coming back here!

Great area! Short walk to the beach and a short drive to the pier. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials and made dinner time easy. Comfy beds, big bathrooms and a nice quiet outside area. The house has great history and felt cozy. The kitchen area is an add on that can only be accessed through the courtyard area. Be prepared that you will hear the owners/occupants above you when they walk and you often can hear them talking.

Second time we’ve stayed in Cara’s place & loved it. The apartment literally has everything you could think of, the bed is comfy. The style is shabby chic & beautiful. We’ve been visiting Santa Monica every other year for the past 24 & weeks would always have this as our first choice. Thanks Cara & Lori Xx

First off, Mo and Ness went above and beyond in terms of communication. They helped us get our booking sorted with less than 48 hours until we landed for our vacation after our previous host had to cancel last minute. While I was scrambling (at about 10pm) with Airbnb customer support, I reached out to Mo and explained our situation. He responded within about 10 minutes and graciously held the dates for us while I finished getting things sorted. The home was exactly what we were hoping for and was exactly as listed. The location was great. Little town noise during the day which was to be expected with the location but surprisingly very quiet at night with the local ordinances. The two porches were my favorite part of the property with lots of humming birds coming to visit. Perfect location for beach visits/canal walks and many great food and coffee options all within walking distance. We had an amazing stay in this lovely home. Truly hope to go back. Thank you very much!
