We enjoyed our stay at The Mill! The suite was far more spacious than we expected. Be sure to sleep with the windows open because the sound of the river reminds you of the beautiful setting in this charming town. The bed was very comfortable and there’s even a sitting area in the bedroom. We enjoyed morning coffee in front of the picture windows that provided a stunning view. We loved the restoration story and handmade features. Marcia was very easy to communicate with and made sure we were comfortable.

We came to town for Ferrum College graduation and had an awesome stay! The place was spotless, cozy, and in a perfect location—close to everything but nice and quiet. The porch is a great bonus—perfect for quiet mornings with coffee or late-night wine sipping. Glenna is an excellent host. Highly recommend!

This little apartment is actually a lot nicer than the photos suggest. Situated in a quiet neighborhood in the countryside, clean, cozy, and comfortable. Brianna is a great host, very responsive and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay.

House was very nice. It was located in a quiet area. The host was easy to contact and reached out right away when I need to ask about the door lock. Nothing was wrong was doing it wrong... he was friendly and the house is great.

Stephanie was easy to work with through our whole process. The house was very well appointed and had everything we needed. Was centrally located to our event and a grocery store was close as well. Awesome stay for us!

Easy entry, just as described, clean, good central location. The home was just as described. Snacks and cold waters were there for us. I enjoyed the property! I had no issues but I would change anything …. It would be one mattress that was very high off the ground one. No big deal (bed was clean and comfortable ) so we put the teen in there (no harm, no foul) because us older people agreed we would struggle to get in and out of it which again may not be a problem for everyone. The coffee pot quit working during my first use (nobody’s fault) however, the owner was quick to say it’ll be replaced! My family felt safe in this 3 bedroom home close to anything you’d need in martinsville. We felt welcomed and enjoyed the property! I would absolutely stay here again !

We had a wonderful weekend stay at the Riverhouse in Bassett, Virginia. The home was cozy, quaint, and just right for our family getaway. We were in town for a graduation, and this spot provided the perfect place to relax and recharge in between events. The house was quiet, clean, and comfortable—everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Its location is also a bonus! It’s within walking distance of the Virginia Fire Museum and the old J.D. Bassett manufacturing plants, which feature some very cool dinosaur statues. There’s even a nearby river access point where the kids had a blast playing. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and family-friendly stay in the area!

I rented the entire Inn for family attending a wedding, and it was absolutely perfect. Everyone was blown away the moment they walked in—the Inn is stunning, with each room beautifully decorated and even better than the pictures. The bedrooms were lovely, the bathrooms gorgeous. Erin, the innkeeper, was incredibly warm and helpful. Each morning she prepared a phenomenal breakfast with casseroles, fresh fruit, salads, avocados, fresh bread, juice, and coffee—it felt like a gourmet brunch! The grounds were just as impressive, with a beautiful back patio and another with outdoor heaters and a fire pit. There was plenty of parking, and the whole place created such a warm and joyful atmosphere. This house didn’t just host us—it elevated our entire celebration. Being together in such a beautiful and welcoming space made our gathering feel even more special. Everyone kept complimenting me on finding such a gem, but truly, all the credit goes to this incredible home and Erin's thoughtful care.

Leslie’s condo is wonderfully presented and cozy. Very clean and spacious bathroom for a studio unit. Good lighting, well equipped kitchen and fresh scent. I was there for a week long business trip. I can recommend with no hesitation.

A very peaceful spot. The place was excellent. Very spacious and clean. Lots of fluffy towels and linens. Comfy beds. We arrived late and got confused with the two different locks in the dark, but management was very helpful and fast to respond, and we got in just fine. We looked in at the pool and gym one rainy day, but did not try them out. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat, this is it. Would stay again.

We loved Armand and Amanda’s place! They were very friendly and responsive hosts and incredibly flexible with check in and check out. They had great amenities and the view from the back deck was just stunning! I hope to stay here again. Thank you for letting us be a part of your beautiful condo.

We had a wonderful long weekend here, enjoying all the beauty of Smith Mountain Lake. We rented a boat, played mini-golf, walked along the lake, and ate great food. This condo is the perfect location to relax and play.
