Window AC units in summer. TV in bedroom. (For some reason, the listing says 4 beds; that is incorrect.) The apt. is on the 2nd floor: 26 steps. (No elevator.) Parking in lot across the street. Host lives nearby.

This was such a wonderful place to stay! Better than we even expected, The Homestead was exactly as described but better and a real blessing to our family - comfortable, serene, quiet, and so peaceful. (The only negative is the single bathroom upstairs, but it was fine for just the 3 of us adults.) We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back! Ruth is such a thoughtful and attentive host as well, with the gift of hospitality! Her attention to detail makes it an enjoyable and pleasant experience from arrival to checkout. Thank you, Ruth!

Such a cozy little stay! My kids and I were visiting family and we REALLY enjoyed our stay. The beds were so comfy, the place was clean, the rooms were spacious and I really feel like for the price it was a really really great home. Quiet neighborhood, not far from stores and restaurants, felt very safe and comfortable (last year I stayed somewhere else near Galesburg that was more expensive and not nearly as nice). I can't believe there are any bad reviews! I hope we can stay here every time, it was perfect for my family and I am grateful for a pleasant home to stay in!

The place was better then expected! Beautiful home out in the country... out problems were phones went in and out when trying to find the house so write down direction.. its easy to find then.. also because im old and crazy we locked ourselfs out.. never lock the bottom lock ugh.. anyways adrin was the best! so nice to be out in the country and saw the strawberry moon!
