Holiday rentals with beach access in Helford River

The location is central St Ives and is perfect for a small break in the town - the view from the kitchen/lounge over looks the harbour and is perfect to watch the slow early morning wake up

We had a lovely stay at The Old Cellars. The property was easy to find, even though it might seem a bit tricky at first. Inside, it was both spacious and cosy – just right for a few relaxing days away. The location is fantastic – right in the heart of the village and only a minute’s walk from the beach, local shop, and pub. Parking wasn’t far at all and didn’t cause any problems. We enjoyed a few scenic walks in both directions from the village – again, the location couldn’t have been better. A special touch was the Friday evening shanty singing at the pub opposite the bedroom window. It really added to the charm and atmosphere of the place. It was lovely to hear and made our stay even more memorable.

Loved staying at Sunnybank and would gladly return. It's a delightful, relaxing home with everything you could need (including a full kitchen and very comfortable living and bed room), in a peaceful yet central location. The host is really friendly and helpful. There's walks right on the doorstep and the fish and chips a ten minute walk away are some of the best I have ever eaten.

Janet's apartment has everything you could need for your stay. The views from inside and from the balcony were amazing. would definitely recommend it.

This was the best place we stayed all holiday. The location is incredible, just steps from Bamaluz beach, with amazing views and the sound of the waves coming right into the house. We loved sitting on the balcony and watching all the dogs playing on the sand, and it was only ten minutes walk to all the main beaches in St Ives. The flat had everything we needed for a comfortable week’s stay. An absolutely perfect base for a beach holiday.

Julie is a wonderful host and a very kind human being. Her apartment shows how considerate she is. We found everything needed in the flat. Flat is very clean, tidy, good linens, balcony view with sound of the waves is outstanding. Bed is good for sleeping. Comfy sofa and other electric machines are fine. We cooked meals happily. Bathroom is nice and clean. Close to town centre and other beaches. Rooftop is nice. We stayed here for seven days. She even arranged for late check-in to help us to relax before catching our flight home. This holiday experience is so great!! We hope to visit again In sha Allah. Thank you Julie. As soon as we walked through that door we could see the beautiful sea and we were just in awe of the place. The location is 10/10, the apartment is stunning and so quiet and we didn’t really notice that we had neighbours which was lovely and made it feel private which is what we look for in a place. Cornwall as whole as well is just stunning and we HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking at it. We have found a special place and we will hopefully come back again and again. This is our happy place. We were so sad to leave as we had such a beautiful holiday. A lot of special memories made. The parking was very good, covered and easy to use, self check in is favourable, the checking in and out time is reasonable and the communication was very good. The train is so useful and we actually enjoyed watching that go by, the walking is amazing, the beach is beautiful, the views from the window and patio are amazing. The sofas and bed are very comfortable which is rare. Thank you so much.

Beautiful, spacious and peaceful apartment located within an easy walk to Maenporth beach through the field. Gill is a very well informed and responsive host and the apartment was very well provisioned with all you would need including for self catering with excellent kitchen facilities. Good disabled access into the ground floor flat with a disabled space right outside on a first come first served basis. There is a dedicated parking space too. Maenporth beach is gorgeous I had a fantastic early morning walk down with lovely coffee at beach cafe.

Probably the nicest place we have ever stayed! Deserves more than 5 stars. The location couldn't be better to get straight out to lots of beaches, bars etc. St Ives streets are small and traffic is restricted 930am to 4pm on the street but outside these times we found it easy to unload then booked a parking space 10 mins walk away on JustPark. The view has to be seen, it's even better than it looks... when people stop at the balcony for a picture you know it's the perfect spot - and we helped take a couple of pictures for them from above! The best thing was having a nice glass of wine on the armchairs with the windows open and listening to the waves and watching the change in tides. Spa bathroom was unreal as was everything really. Already looking at dates to come back! We also enjoyed Johns Wine Bar, The Host (had great live music), Mor Beach Cafe for morning rolls and James King for beautiful St Ives jewellery. Thanks again David we loved it all!

Lovely place, just as described and per the photos. 15 min walk from Penmere railway station, and about 30 min walk into town, we managed to work out the buses to come back :-) Gareth was very helpful and communicative.

Our stay with Amanda was absolutely fabulous. The house is very stylish indeed, friendly and we felt immediately at home. This was also easy thanks to the treat of scones and clotted cream by our hosts. Especially our little patio and the garten room were great! We explored the fab pub close by and we had lovely walks at the beautiful and stunning coast. We wholeheartedly recommend the place and hopefully will be back in future.

A historic stone row home, with a light filled living room addition, and private and sunny outdoor area. Steep walk down to the last unit, which is slippery when wet. There is a leafy wooded pathway down to the Petersville Inn, with another spur towards the beach which accesses a cliff trail.

An amazing find with a beautiful view of the sea, even from bed! Was super relaxing waking up with that view! We did wear sleep masks as it can get super bright but worth it for the views 🥰🥰 Everything we needed was available, and although no garden for doggos, there is plenty of areas for them to go out along the road, and near coastal path! Bed was SUPER comfy and the shower was amazing! Melinda was super helpful if we had a question and was so kind!

Deborah & Martin's property is every bit as good as the listing promises-it is well designed, beautifully appointed and immaculately maintained throughout. The surroundings are entirely peaceful yet accessible (we saw buzzards, bunnies and bats) and the kitchen is a particular stand out for those of us who like to prepare our own meals on holiday, being both spacious and fully equipped with quality tableware and equipment. Deborah was responsive and attentive from the time of booking to the end of the stay but left us to our own devices. Highly recommended.

Great host who provided lots of local knowledge. The property was amazing with great views and very relaxing. Just what we needed.

The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Felt at home and is located close to other stores and restaurants.

The location is perfect. Train and busstation are in walking distance. The apartment and views are absolutely beautiful, you definitely pay for this though, personally I found it quite a bit pricey but it was worth it.

My partner and I had a fantastic stay at the Art Apartment, great location just 10-15 mins walk into town towards the harbour, and the place was a good size with everything you could need for a few nights. Squeaky clean, nice and peaceful with a little outside space. Ingrid was also kind enough to let us drop a few bags off a couple of hours before check-in, which really helped us. Overall well worth the money and we hope to return soon!

My daughter and I stayed for a few days and the apartment was perfect. Great location, very close to shops, restaurants and the beach. Apartment was clean, tidy and looked exactly like the photos. View was beautiful! Has everything you would need. Paul was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had. We had an amazing few days in St Ives and will definitely be staying at the apartment again in the future.

Just back from a great stay in Falmouth. The accommodation was easy to find with straight forward instructions for access. The location is a 30 second walk from Gylly beach and 15 minute walk from the centre of Falmouth. The apartment was very well kitted out and clearly well cared for. Martha's place was the perfect spot for a holiday in Falmouth! Super easy to walk into town. Very clean and bright. Had everything we needed.

This is a small apartment and it is perfect for 2 adults. The location of the apartment is excellent for walks along the South west coast path. There is a nice little fish and chip shop and a pub, in the village, that both serve good food. I am a Coeliac on a Gluten Free diet and I had no problem eating at both establishments. The location of this Airbnb is definitely worth the money.

Great location for a stay in Falmouth. Easy walk into town and parking was a great bonus. Flat was clean and comfortable and exactly as promised.

Nicola was an excellent host and her apartment is in a fantastic location overlooking the harbour in Mevagissey. Lots of good places to eat nearby and attractions like The Lost Gardens of Helagon and The Eden Project are just a short drive away. Would highly recommend
