Benton House - guest suite, no cleaning fee

Located in the heart of the original town site for Helena, the Benton House provides great access to downtown, the mountain trails, and all that is wonderful about Helena. We are owner occupied, you will be staying in a recently redecorated private suite on the 2nd floor of our Victorian home. The Benton House is 2 blocks from the walking mall, less than a mile to the trailheads on Mt. Helena and Mt. Ascension. We are also very conveniently located to the Capital and to Carroll College.

Jennifer was beyond exceptional! When I had some questions about the amenities in the place, the kitchen items, etc. she was always giving me a quick and complete answer. She also sent more pictures to show me what was there that I was asking about. She even went out and bought some handicap safety items for the shower, a shower chair and a rubber mat to accommodate myself and my older sister. The kitchen was very clean, and we appreciated the snacks that she had available too. It was nice to have a garage available, but we were initially confused by the directions to how to get to it as Google did not know about the alley behind the house. We had plenty of empty drawer space in the bedrooms and bathroom. The linens and towels were very nice, and an extra blanket was a bonus. Having a comfortable dining area was also nice when we got together for meals and even a quick visit from one of my cousins. It was overall a great place to stay in Helena.

Very remote and peaceful setting, so quiet and private. The cabin was much bigger than expected and very well equipped. If you follow the instructions Jackie gives it's not hard to find. If you're into outdoorsy/rustic/off-the-beaten-track/country cabin vibes you'll love it.

This was a lovely stay. It’s clear that a lot of love and effort was put into the cabin, and it feels very homey. If you bring your dog, I’d recommend bringing a tie out as the outside area isn’t fenced. The only downside is that it’s right by the interstate, and the neighbor’s dog barked pretty incessantly for the first few hours that I was there, so be prepared for some noise. Overall it was very cozy and I would stay here again!

Absolutely loved staying in this Yurt! It was so peaceful and was a great way to disconnect and enjoy views. The linens were fantastic, bed soft and inviting with heated blankets that ended up saving us that night because it dropped in the 30’s. Would highly recommend!!!
