Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Hayward

My wife and I just stayed at FishTail Lodge! It was Perfect! Pictures were exactly how the cabin appeared. Tom is an amazing host who responds to any question quickly. Check in and Check out was easy. The Cabin is in a Wonderful location and is spotless. There is so much to do within the property itself. From Relaxing at the fire pit, to the screened in porch or on the pontoon. There is a pool table, darts, and ample games and movies. The beds are amazingly comfortable. We have rented other cabins in the past, I would say, without question, this is the best place we have rented in every aspect. If you are reading reviews in order to help decide if this is the place. . . This IS the place! Rent it! You won't be disappointed.

This was a home away from home with all the amenities we needed & then some. Reisa was a very attentive host. We are hoping to stay again at the end of summer when we visit again. The massage chair was definitely a bonus! Didn’t get a chance to use the kayaks but for sure at our next visit.

I have sensitivities to smells, chemicals and certain laundry detergent. The tide laundry detergent was strong on the bedding and towels and throughout the house. Other than my issues with strong smells and chemicals, the place was great. Thank you.

Beautiful farm house. Host was super responsive. VERY quiet, so much that we wanted to use the noise machines in the rooms. Very warm (we visited in February and below 0 temps) and pleasantly surprised how warm it was. Bathrooms don’t have exhaust fans and would recommend bringing or adding more fans to the property for moving air at night because it was pretty warm. (Yes we turned down the heat at night)

What an amazing stay! Came with my 8 girl scouts and we loved it so much they didn't want to go home. The house was perfect and very clean and organized. There were labels for everything. I accidentally broke a cutting board and Amanda was kind about it. We especially loved the porch! So relaxing and great for puzzling. Would definitely come back. Thanks for a great stay! 🩷

Jennifer's place is wonderful and peaceful and relaxing. The setting is amazing and the house is cozy and clean. The yard and trails are beautiful and it's an incredibly beautiful location. I would definitely go again.

Our family had a lovely weekend. Even though it was rainy, we had plenty of things to pass the time. We took advantage of the pickleball courts and the pool - a great addition to the coziness of the cabin. The owners were communicative and extra helpful to us after we accidentally left some items in the cabin after check out. My mother expressed that she wished she could've stayed all week, and is already making plans to go back next year. I would highly recommend this cozy cabin to anyone looking for a weekend getaway!

my family of 5 drove from Alberta Canada to stay at this cute little water front property, and it was the most adorable little spot to stay. the canoe was accessible, there were smart tv's in the room and living room, full sized kitchen, massive bathroom with laundry (thank you for this). the neighbour's were quiet, the neighborhood friendly and walkable and the water piping hot AND drinkable for being on a lake (drinkable water is a huge bonus if your on a lake). The manager was very friendly and super responsive, easy access and beautiful waters all around. we would absolutely stay here again.

This was a great place to stay for a weekend getaway. We cooked out, roasted s’more’s, played a round of golf, and went for a nice walk. It fit 8 people comfortably and the gaming area was fun for everyone. We did not get a chance to use the sauna but it looked nice inside. We were all very happy with the stay.

Despite this being the 2nd year in a row without snow, we had a great time at this cabin! The space was perfect for our extended family. We enjoyed hiking on the trails right outside the back door. We had them all to ourselves! The fish fry at the clubhouse restaurant was very good. The pool, sauna and work out room were fabulous! I highly recommend this place.

After 16 years of marriage and raising three very busy children, these four days away were very needed. This cozy cabin in the woods was everything we had hoped for!! The decor, ambiance, quiet! Absolutely loved our time away. We will be recommending this place to our friends and will book again if we come this way! Kayla is a remarkable host!!! Highly highly recommend!!

Perfect place to get away and relax. We loved the little walk down to the dock on the small, private lake. The fire pit was well thought out and stocked with plenty of wood for tons of s’more’s. Ping pong table was great entertainment. We will be back!

Wow! This was my first Airbnb stay and Keriann set the bar high. She thought of every amenity a guest might need, and then thought of more. The cottage offered a quiet place to stay with a beautiful lakeside view. We enjoyed listening to the resident eagles chattering from their nearby nest and watching them soar to find their next meal. The two-level deck is huge and offered a wonderful space for us to gather. Everything inside the home was labeled, so we could easily find anything we were looking for. The beds were more comfortable than ours at home and there was an ample supply of extra pillows and blankets. Our only regret was booking 2 nights instead of many more. Keriann was so kind and so responsive to help us secure our last minute reservation. She is a gem of a host. Her commitment to provide the highest level of hospitality at her property is unmatched. We can’t wait to book our next visit to Eagle Crest Cottage!

The Little Blue Cabin was exactly what we were looking for to have a peaceful fall getaway. The location along the lake was just perfect and relaxing. The cabin was just the right size for the two us us and our pup. Even though there were other cabins nearby, you would never have known as it's a very quiet area. Would highly recommend and would look to stay here again in the future.

The stay was amazing, I ended up checking in late, so it was dark. But waking up in the morning it was mind blowing scenery. The pictures don’t do justice on how pretty the cabin and view from the porch are. Very nice and clean. 10/10 would recommend.

I wish we could have stayed longer! The cabin feels very homey and comfortable. We spent most of our time in the sunroom glued to our binoculars, looking at the birds. We used the precut wood and had a fire in the fireplace each night. The tv isn’t “modern” but it encouraged us to be more present. There’s plenty to do during the day so we didn’t even turn it on until the evening and we watched some movies from the DVD’s provided. We took the canoe out since the water was starting to open up and got up close with a beaver! The paddles and life jackets were easy to find in the shed. The bed/bedding was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen has the basics you need for cooking. We’re already talking about booking another stay sometime in the warmer months!

Memorial weekend with the family! Had a great time. The house was perfect with lots of charm. Enjoyed days of fishing, kayaking, kids swimming, and just enjoying the view! Made our annual trip up to Hayward which was great as always and only 15 minutes a way! Nights were spent around the fire cooking s’mores, playing Pictionary, and blank slate! Great house and great hosts!
