We at Hawaii Volcano Coffee Company welcome you to stay at our beautiful studio cottage overlooking one of our many organic coffee orchards. We are located between two of the Big Islands most iconic areas; Hawaii Volcano National Park and Hilo's beaches, approximately both a 20-minute drive from the studio. Lahela Aloha LLC is a large studio unit attached to our family home in Hawaiian Paradise Park, a rural subdivision in the Puna District of Hawai‘i Island. We're 20 min from Hilo Int'l Airport and 40 min from Hawai‘i Volcanoes NP. We have two large rescue dogs, Jack and Boogie. They will be excited to meet you upon arrival- dog lovers only please. We also have several cats, some chickens, and our neighbors have a cow and dogs. All of them make noise, including coqui frogs at night.

Surrounded by orchids and other tropical flowers, the cottage is located on two lovely landscaped acres - 30 minutes from Hilo or Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The property is solar powered, an off-grid sustainable system with 4G phone service and fiber optic wifi. The last two miles are on unpaved gravel road in variable condition depending upon how much rain we've had lately. Four wheel drive isn't necessary but an SUV or similar vehicle with higher clearance is recommended.

I loved my stay at Mick’s place! It was super clean and comfortable. Also very quiet for working or relaxing. Mick was very responsive and helpful throughout my last minute booking and during my stay. Loved the dogs and the ponies, made me feel right at home. About a half hour (easy drive to and from) to Volcanoes National Park where I spent my days. Would definitely recommend Mick’s place to others!

Beautiful house with tasteful furnishing. A bit cramped if the tv is pulled out because the tv is set up on a rollable cabinet but still very beautiful and comfortable place to use as base for exploring the volcano national park. Host is friendly and communicative.

First of all I just want to thank Kiha for letting us stay at her cute & cozy place! It was everything we expected and then some! I would definitely love to stay with her again! She was super friendly, helpful, and her kindness made us feel very welcomed and at home away from home. She made sure we were taken cared of. 10/10 would recommend! Great quiet place with easy access to Hilo and Volcanoes National Park. Enjoyed the lanai with a table to dine out. This is a duplex so other side of the house might be rented to other people. It was a perfect place for our family to use as a base to explore the north of the island.
