A new, well-equipped log cabin built 2018 with a good access to the main roads and nearby cities. The cabin is located on a hill with a great view to a big lake. The cabin is surrounded by great berry forests, hiking trails and a lake rich in fish. In the cabin you have a wood burning sauna, a fireplace, a grill shelter, a hot tub and a boat. Winter time you can do cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snowboarding, ice fishing and snowshoe trekking.The nearest ski center is in Sappee (30km)

Welcome to our private cottage to enjoy your stay! Our small (37 m2) but comfortable cottage includes small kitchen with all amenities included, big traditional finnish sauna, bathroom and tiny toilet. A/C (movable device, on request) makes your stay pleasant also in summer and the cottage is heated year around. For sleeping there is one queen bed (160 cm). Baby bed and one mattress 80x200cm available if needed. For safety reasons the hosts will warm up the sauna for you (house rules).

About 100 steps through the forest, along the road 0.5km. One bicycle can be made available for the duration of the visit. I hope guests follow the House Rules and live with respect for my home. One of the rooms in the triangle is locked and unavailable to guests.

Or just hang out on the hammock. You can swim from the pier or directly from the beach. The beach is quite sudden, so it's not suitable for young children. A lot heats up next to the sauna terrace. We had a really nice time at the house! They had Duplos, puzzles and a swing set for the kids, which they enjoyed a lot, as well as playing in the garden. The house is very well stocked, so a family of four can stay there comfortably. We took many trips to Tampere (Moomin Museum, Särkanniemi Park), Lahti, Luopioinen for swimming in the lake and enjoying a kids friendly beach, and of course to Helsinki a few times. You can hike in the woods, swim in the lake and use the rowing boat and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. We had a really great time there!

The cottage is at a beautiful, peaceful location and we really enjoyed our overnight stay here. The cottage has everything you need! We went rowing, swimming, used the sauna many times and used the firepit to cook dinner. We were so glad the lake didn't have blue algae so we were able to go swimming. We bumped into Liisa briefly too and she was so lovely. Thank you! Kiitos!
