Sage Cottage, Ditchling

SarahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a great weekend at Sage Cottage. The cottage is on the doorstep of great pubs, restaurants, and cafes, as well as a beautiful park with a playground, which we took the children and dog to each day. The cottage was spotlessly clean, had comfy beds, and had a fabulous kitchen. It had everything we needed. We took trips to Brighton and the surrounding areas and then enjoyed coming back to the village. I highly recommend it. Thanks for a delightful and cosy stay!

Historic maisonette cottage

Instantly felt right at home. so comfy. cosy and the attention to detail was great! Quirky and peaceful decor , spotless and charming. fresh cut flowers, treats and the overriding feeling that the host wants you to be as happy and as comfortable as possible with great communication. We couldn't recommend Deborah and her place highly enough. Also, best fish and chips we've ever eaten is just up the road!

It was a joy to stay at this Airbnb, the flat was perfect - had everything we needed :) It is really well located in the heart of the village and close to lots of beautiful walking routes around the South Downs. Melanie was so helpful and responsive and friendly. I highly recommend this place!

Secluded quirky cottage “Postbox’ (annex)

RuthRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Clive’s place was great and quirky, with lovely features and amenities. Liked the bee theme! Clive left us tasty bits for breakfast, such as milk, eggs, bacon and bread. Really responsive host and nice area. One thing I’d mention as I don’t think I saw it in other reviews is that the road could occasionally be loud (HGVs driving past doing more than the 30mph limit) so it might be worth bringing earplugs (obviously this is outside host’s control and did not ruin our experience - more of a tip!)

Self contained suite - 3 min walk to train station

AkshayRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I had a great months stay at Rebecca’s place. It’s in a great location, very close to the train station and so easy to get to Brighton. There was parking which was very handy. It had all the amenities needed for a long stay. Rebecca was very welcoming and polite and I can’t recommend her place enough.

Timeless high street hideaway

MatthewRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We stayed at Sophie's house in Hurstpierpoint for 12 nights. The location was great for us as we have relatives near by (we live in Houston, Texas). There are good bus service (s) nearby and a rail station in Hassocks. We did not have a car during our trip but had no difficulty using the bus/taxi's etc. The village has everything you need shopping wise plus some nice pubs and restaurants. Sophie's house has been very well modernized with full size appliances including a large fridge/freezer, fan oven, air fryer, toaster, kettle and microwave. There is also a washer and dryer. Plenty of hot water and great water pressure. The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, glasses, cooking pots, cooking and eating utensils. Also we appreciated the abundance of electrical points and USB ports. The main bedroom is large and comfortable with lots of closets and storage plus a large supply of hangers. So, in summation, Sophie's property has everything you could possibly need! Thank you Sophie!

Self-contained B&B on S Downs Way near Brighton

KirstyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful stay at this cozy Airbnb just outside Brighton. From the moment we arrived, our host was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. What really impressed us was the thoughtful attention to detail - when the host learned we were vegan, they kindly provided vegan milk and butter along with other lovely amenities. It's rare to find such considerate hospitality that makes you feel truly cared for as a guest. The space itself was beautifully cozy and comfortable, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing getaway. The location is ideal too - close enough to Brighton to easily explore the city while offering a peaceful retreat to return to. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming stay with a host who genuinely cares about their guests' experience. We'll definitely be back!

Self-contained, pretty annexe in Ditchling

I had a lovely 2 day stay at Penny's home. Ditchling is a beautiful village, and the property is located in an extremely peaceful spot - a short walk from a very good local pub/restaurant. I definitely recommend.
