A very warm welcome. Maurice and Ingo, open-minded world people who are discreet and reserved, but immediately there for questions and requests. And also a house that leaves nothing to be desired. Actually, I wanted to take a pool vacation, which I also had and enjoyed very much, but the place is more. A house and a landscape that invites you to discover even in winter without a pool, to relax or work from home. If you want, you can immerse yourself in Jules Verne "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" or in the life or stories of Daphne du Maurier. There's a lot to discover. The most diverse literature, the pictures, the record player with..., in general the tasteful, lovingly furnished apartment. First you look fleetingly at a picture - then you see the story behind it e.g. La prune with a bitten macaron ;-) Macron? or the birds... or...

We had a nice stay with friends and our children. The accommodation is beautifully decorated and offers a great time, especially for children, with the fantastic garden. But also for rainy hours, many games are available. Gladly again

Pleasant stay, nice hosts, apartment very clean, five of us had neat space. However, it will probably be very cuddly about 16t. Unfortunately, Wi-Fi was almost not available. Somewhat strange that you will be brought into contact with the Hosts first through another company - Bookiply - after booking. And a bit unfortunate that bedding and towels have to be paid extra. Tourist tax as well. At the end, there was a high bat on it. It's rather unusual, as usually everything is compensated with the airbnb reservation.

A great place with a great host. I had a wonderful stay! The apartment is exactly as described in the pictures – clean, well equipped and super cozy. The attention to detail and the garden was particularly beautiful for me. The house is large and offers plenty of space. Janett was extremely friendly, helpful and always available if any questions came up. The location of the property is also perfect for exploring the area. I highly recommend this place to anyone and I'd love to come back!

We were allowed to spend a week in Mike and Sandra's house during Easter. The location of the house is great. If you're looking for peace, this is the place to be. The house is very high quality and tastefully decorated. From art on the walls, stylish lamps on the ceiling to glasses, vases, etc....everything high quality and tasteful. We were a total of 5 people and dogs and none of us thought of anything that could be missing or what you could have done better. We also used the sauna and were able to swim in the swimming pond afterwards....at the current temperatures it was more of a cooling dive bath🤣, but summer is not there yet. In the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms there is everything you could think of. Upon arrival, even Lindt Easter bunnies and treats were provided for the dogs, as well as towels for the dogs, chardonnay and water to welcome them in the fridge. Thanks for the great days with you!

A really great vacation rental! Everything was very clean, cozy and you feel immediately comfortable. The location in a quiet and beautiful residential area is ideal for switching off and leaving everyday life behind. We were also particularly impressed by the friendliness of the hosts - very courteous and helpful. Perfect for a few relaxing days. We would come back anytime!

We were four friends in the vacation home and we liked it very much. The house is beautifully decorated, well cut and very well equipped (especially the kitchen). The garden is large and there are several terraces. After a short walk, you will arrive at Steinhuder Meer. We can definitely recommend the place.

We had only used the accommodation for sleeping to visit the serengeti park which is 20 minutes away. But it was super nice and cozy. You can sit outside and grill if needed. The upper floor is very low and you have to crawl into bed, but that did not bother us. Incredibly quiet location and absolutely idyllic.

We were with the family for an extended weekend in Jan's beautiful house. He welcomed us kindly, showed us the house and gave us information about the area. He renovated the house himself and furnished it with an incredible attention to detail. It's like a museum, there are little things to discover everywhere. A true paradise for art lovers! There are toys for young and old, endless space and the place around it is worth a walk. The bell tower right next door scares you the first time, but after that you hardly notice it. From the chair, you can watch the storks, so that even bad weather in Jan's house is super bearable. We will be happy to come back, it was great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Sascha and Sarah were great hosts, both are very friendly and warm people. Already on the first day, Sarah offered to clean and brush out the ponies, even though she hardly knew us. She did a great job of pony riding. Sascha was also always approachable if something came up. The place is very nice, everything necessary is available. Everything was super clean, you felt right at home. You can tell they put a lot of effort into it. Because the stud of the two is a little remote, you had peace and quiet. But various excursion destinations can also be reached in a relatively short time. Personal recommendations: Steinhuder Meer, Dino-Park Münchehagen and the Ströhen Zoo. For families, we can recommend Sascha and Sarah as hosts and their place - we'll be back for sure!

A great house with a beautiful garden and a lot of attention to detail. We felt completely comfortable. Christina was a wonderful host, very helpful before and during the stay. Absolute recommendation for quiet days in a stylish atmosphere!

We felt very comfortable! The quiet location and the beautiful large garden was pure relaxation. Everything in the house is tip top! The kitchen was not cluttered with unnecessary items, so you could easily accommodate the things you brought. Highly recommended!

We spent an extended weekend at Denise's. The house are beautiful and cozy. The beds were super comfortable. We will be happy to come back on occasion. Thank you very much for the honey.

For the second time, it was an absolutely perfect vacation! The cottage is fantastic, as well as the surroundings, no matter what time of year. Anja was as always super sweet and very helpful and I hope to enjoy the hospitality a third time:)

The apartment was perfect. Ideal for children. The hosts invited us on a tour with a bulldog and carriage. Our daughter was allowed to ride. She was able to participate in line dancing. It was a special experience. Many thanks for everything!

Very nice, tasteful and thoughtful decor. High-quality and lavishly equipped kitchen. The house offers a lot of space and at the same time privacy with the spacious all-round garden. Beautiful open architecture with lots of floor-to-ceiling windows facing the garden. We felt very comfortable.

I was with my mother and little son for a short vacation on the Steinhuder Meer and we felt very comfortable at the place! Everything new, modern, clean and practical. Good location, large garden, all around good. We would come back!

The accommodation is in a very quiet location, check-in is super flexible. Sigrid and Peter live right next door and are very friendly. You could always talk to them if you have any questions. You will be very warmly welcomed. The apartment is super equipped and you can buy coffee, emergency toothbrush, wine, etc. on site. There are fly screens in front of the windows. In the pictures, the apartment looks a little smaller than it really is. A great apartment to feel comfortable in!

My family and I enjoyed the stay very much. The area is very beautiful and offers many activities. The contact with Hartwig was very pleasant and friendly, we had a good time :)

A dream home that leaves nothing to be desired! The furnishings are designed with great attention to detail - stylish, high-quality and at the same time very cozy. Everything was absolutely clean and well equipped, you can immediately tell that it was planned with heart. The privacy is excellent - you can completely switch off and enjoy the peace and quiet. The unobstructed view of the golf course is unique and lends the stay a special atmosphere. It was the perfect place for us to relax! Thank you :)
