The place is very good, It’s so peaceful and has a breathtaking view of the mountains. The cottage is beautifully furnished and has a lovely ambiance. The caretaker was super friendly and the food was delicious (it felt like I was back home).

The place was really beautiful, looked exactly like the photos, felt relaxing being in the middle of nature. It was beautiful and calm. Would visit again!

A peaceful gem in Sitla, Mukteshwar! The drive from Nainital is smooth with a few manageable slopes. The property sits at the road’s end—no dedicated parking, but you can park right at the gate without issue. The lawn is spacious with fresh mountain air, perfect for yoga, breakfast with a stunning Himalayan view, or evening bonfires under a silent, star-lit sky. Rooms are clean, spacious, and felt brand new (built in Jan 2025). Bathrooms are also spotless and roomy. The real charm is the host, Varun—kind, helpful, and always around to make your stay special. There’s 24x7 house help; cooking and utensil washing aren’t included but can be arranged at an extra cost. Highly recommended for a serene, nature-filled escape!

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage, it was an ideal place for enjoying the best of Nainital. Quite an experience for me and my family. The caretakers of the place were really helpful and friendly. We were served a really homely breakfast. Important to mention, it’s a difficult climb to get there mainly for the elders ( if they are not sporty).

col cottage was exactly as it was described on airbnb...super clean, cozy, well maintaind with beautiful surroundings all around..All the bedrooms have valley views & balconies to enjoy the nature &have some nice clicks.Since June is the season of fruit we could find trees full of fruits & even get some to eat by col wife.The kitchen was super clean ,spacious & equipped with all necessary appliances, ..The check in was very smooth as solanki sir was in touch with us while we were on the way.The caretaker satish was a kind &gentle person overall I must say it was a homelike & wonderful stay.

Our Family Visit at Pine Wood BnB was no less than a serene and exceptional experience! The cottage like house is at a location far away from the city hustle and road honking! We trekked a bit to reach at the place and it felt like we were living in the middle of the mountains. The house was neat and clean with all the facilities provided including the washing machine and iron. The caretaker Vinod cooked us delicious home made food and his chhole bhaturas was one of the highlights of the trip. Since i had a 2.5 years old, the house was also equipped with colors, coloring books, toys, soft toys, and lots of books! It was like a home away from home! The connectivity to Bhowali, Baba Neem Karauli Mandir, Kapileshwar Temple was good. Took 1-2 hours to reach there depending on the location. The house overall had a beautiful warm feels, with good and clean linen, a 360 Mountain View, birds watching experience and we would definitely visit it again! Our stay here was honestly a dream! The property, the staff and the food were all better than we could have hoped for. Dushyant and Avanti have really spent the time and energy making sure their guests feel at home and taken care of! We spent 3 nights at the property. And we’re helped with recommendations for things to do (we picked a waterfall swim and the kasar devi temple), as well as taken of a beautiful sunset hike organised by the caretaker. We had fabulous company in their 6 dogs and 2 kitten and their amazing caretaker (Kalpesh) . All in all we wished we stayed on an extra day because no one wanted to leave this little slice of paradise. Some notes for future guests: - The journey was long but worth it, best to be prepped though with snack etc for the journey. - You’re in the midst of nature, so be prepped for nature to also make its way to your room. - the food is INSANELY good, bring stretchy pants. You’ll need them. It’s safe to say we’ll be back again soon!
