Karin’s home is really beautiful and a very special location. Lovely walks to enjoy and the views are beyond beautiful. The kids had a great time in the pool even though it was early autumn and with the pool solar heating it took the edge off. Surprisingly the kids did not complain about there being no TV. We had lots to do, games, walks, reading and exploring the area and local cafes. Worth a visit, we loved our stay!

Great place, large house with big separate rooms, beautiful views, lovely walking paths around the golf course and on the hiking trials. Dutton Cove great sea food restaurant nearby. Herold`s bay Beach is small drive away. Overall great value for money.

What a wonderful stay! From the 1st communication the checkout, everything was wonderful. We had a family of 14 from 8 years old to 83. The house swallowed us up. Pictures on here don't quite do it justice. A beautiful house that flows from the kitchen to the lounge to the deck to that amazing view right on the beach. It was perfect for our large family get together. We all had enough space to be together but crucially enough to be apart as well. It was very well equipped to cater for all of us. The setting of the house is just fantastic right on the best beach in SA but still walking distance to all that Wilderness has to offer. Finally I have to mention Elzette. My Mother of 83 had a fall just before our trip so was not very mobile. Elzette sent us all the info we needed before the trip and even helped by picking up mobility equipment from George for our arrival. Above and beyond! Any issues were immediately attended to with kindness and efficiency. Highly recommend! Thanks

Amazing views. Extremely well equipped. Even better than my own home. Very modern and everything as described. Great host, Westley. The only negative is that is a quite steep road up from the center to the house so we took the car for going out to dinner although it is a close distance to some good restaurants. The beach was also beautiful and very few people when we visited in end of February. Wilderness is a charming little town.

Great location right on the beach. Lovely home with everything we needed as a family of 5 with children aged 4,7 and 12. Cynthia was very attentive and helpful and kept the place spotless. Highly recommend this one!

Great place on the beach. Spacious and modern! Kitchen and living room well equipped and clean. Signal in Herold’s Bay overall isnt great, and slow Wifi and no cellular signal in main bedroom. Overall lovely stay, would return in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful stay at The Beach House in Groot Brakrivier! The home had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. Marya was an excellent host—friendly, responsive, and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. The location was perfect, just a short stroll from the beach, and we were spoiled with stunning views from every room. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind by the sea in a beautiful setting.

We had a truly wonderful stay — it felt like being immersed in a beautiful forest retreat. The outdoor shower and bath were absolute highlights, giving off a magical, Costa Rica–like vibe. We felt completely safe and at ease throughout our visit. Lara was incredibly responsive, proactive, and warm, which made the experience even better. We absolutely loved staying here. Our second time in the best location ever. The new renovations are just what the gem needed to make it more open. Especially the new covered deck in front overlooking the ocean with new built in braai. The best location because away from the main beach and so nice just to walk out the door with your surfboard under your arm and 1 minute later you are in the ocean. We will definitely be back very soon. Thanks a lot for and amazing week.

We would've loved to stay longer - beautiful place created with lots of love. Very well equipped, everything you need. Short walk to beautiful and quiet beach. Pizza from restaurant next door is fabulous. Will come back when in Wildernis again!

A place where we created such great memories. Beautiful views. Right on the beach, played with the kids on the beach until sunset. Highly recommended! Hope we can go back.

We recently stayed at the Bluehouse on the Pinnacle Golf Course, and it was an unforgettable experience. The house itself was absolutely stunning—spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was a luxurious home away from home. The golf course was simply amazing—a true bucket list course for any golf enthusiast. The views were breathtaking, the course was impeccably maintained, and it provided a great challenge for players of all skill levels. As a family, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here, from relaxing in the beautiful surroundings to creating special memories together. We can’t recommend this experience enough and look forward to visiting again!

Not many places so petfriendly. All 5 our Frenchies (and a last minute cousin) was welcome. House is literally on the ocean, awsome walks with dogs on the beach. The best for me was the inside braai with big open sliding door and deck. Just perfect. O ja, and a very big plus also was the awsome bed linen, slept like a king with ocean right outside. The stay at Wilma’s Airbnb was unforgettable. For four students we never saw so many stars. The surroundings were peaceful and simply beautiful. The house had everything you needed and more! Wilma was a very friendly host who helped us out where I made a mistake. All in all would definitely recommend and come back! :)

Such a beautiful stay at Sandkorrel. I am still dreaming of the views over the lagoon and ocean. We will be back soon

Charlotte and Jimmy are lovely and caring hosts. We really enjoyed our stay there. The apartment is thoughtfully finished and equipped (the kitchen area has everything you need, even different herbs if you like to cook; a sun-umbrella, comfy beds, etc). We stayed here with our one year old toddler. Keep in mind: You definitely need a car to get around there, as it’s a living area only, no restaurants or bars (at least we didn’t see any).

We wanted a break and that is exactly what we got. Such a peaceful place to be, in a safe enviroment where our children could have fun and we could relax without any worrying. Quiet and beautiful with everything that you could possibly need. The little details had me taking photos of marshmallows, vases, mirrors and lamp shades! Waking up early, wrapped in a blanket with a cup of coffee in hand we stood at the door looking at the sky and clouds beacuse it was just a different kind of beautiful! Our hosts were a message away and were happy to give us directions to where we needed to go - kind, warm and welcoming. Definately keeping this gem on our lists to revisit.

We had an amazing 4-night stay at Evara Villa in Tergniet. The house was beautifully furnished, spotless, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. The ocean views were absolutely stunning, and the peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect escape. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a coastal getaway!
