Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Hartbeespoortdam

The pictures do not do it justice. What a beautiful home with stunning views of the dam. Multiple seating areas inside and outside. Electric blankets and air conditioning provided which really made our stay more comfortable. Spacious bedrooms with enough bathrooms. Would recommend getting more serving dishes and food storage containers especially because the house caters for a large number of guests. Otherwise , no complaints. Responsive host and caretaker. Highly recommend.

This villa is an absolute gem! The pictures simply don’t capture the beauty of this place. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views and peaceful surroundings. It was a perfect getaway to enjoy with friends. Samantha was an exceptional host, friendly, responsive and always ready to assist with queries, making our stay even more enjoyable. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a serene escape.

Had a great stay, no interruptions, very private and quite refreshing scenery

James' house located in a very safe neighborhood, considering this is our first time in South Africa, this is necessary to make us feel good, plus we're travelling with 3 small kids. The house is spacey, have everything we need, comfortable, though a little cold during wintertime as it doesn't have central heating, but for adults it's manageable. Distance is also great if you have a car, which is mandatory for Joburg in my opinion. James is also very friendly and responsive, answers to questions whenever he is available, so this was a great find :)

We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was friendly, responsive, and made the check-in process super easy. The location was great, close to everything Harties has to offer. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Our stay was nothing short of amazing. The property is absolutely beautiful — the pictures truly don’t do it justice! Every corner of the home was thoughtfully designed and impeccably clean, with a perfect balance of comfort and style. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcome and well taken care of. Our host was incredibly kind, responsive, and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect throughout our stay. It is rare to find a place that exceeds expectations in every way, but this one absolutely did. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

It's always an amazing stay at Mpho's, it was a really cold long weekend but the gas heater and the electric blanket were a really nice touch an there was an extra blanket available. So peaceful and the hosts were really helpful whenever we requested assistance with anything. It truly felt like home. Definitely coming back again 😅

Such a beautiful place. Looks exactly like the pictures. The host was very responsive and helpful. The only issue we had was the WiFi that was unstable throughout the weekend.

Charl was absolutely wonderful. He had upgraded us to a much larger apartment for no extra cost. His accommodation is very private, the surrounding garden is beautiful and the apartment is designed in such a cozy way! We really enjoyed our stay and would gladly come back. :)

A very comfortable place to stay in Joburg if you are on a business or short trip. Flatlet is self contained and has all that you need. Location is great as very close to Sandton and Hyde Park.

From the moment you walk into the apratment, you are greeted with a beautiful fresh floral aroma, that brings a comforting smile to your face as you enter the spotless, well designed loft apartment. Tracy-Lee, is an amazing host as her attention to detail is accurate and well thought out. She is attentive if needed and very good at giving advice on places to go and things to see if needed. The furniture, the colour theme, the spacious environment , and the clean kitchen and bathroom, make this place feel safe, comfortable and welcomed. This place is a hidden gem, and worth every penny. I truly believe that the interior design within the space adds something unique to the experience, as the layout of the the pieces fit neatly and conveniently together, making you feel right at home. Everything about the apartment space suits my needs beautifully and I will definitely be staying again in the future.

Amanda is a very attentive host, all my needs were anticipated. The place is serene, peaceful and has a great natural ambiance. The amenities provided are exceptional , it’s a home away from home. I especially loved that a desk and ergonomics chair was provided. I felt safe at all time…I miss the place already.

I had a baby and a toddler and it was very cold! The host made our stay comfortable. The place has all that you can possibly think of to accommodate a family. Even when the city had no water, the host ensured we had drinking water & enough to flush & wash dishes. Did I mention that she was readily available at midnight to sort out my access issues! Forever grateful! Thank you so much!

I had a wonderful stay at Tia and Mandy’s place. Both hosts were always very responsive and immediately took action if anything required it (which there was very little need for). The location of this studio apartment is also perfect for someone that needs to be close to amenities like a pharmacy, great restaurants and grocery stores. I had friendly neighbors and the security at the complex is top notch. Please note that the washing machine is not in the unit but within a laundry room in the complex. I wont hesitate to recommend this little gem to anyone needing a weekend away or a short stay with all the comforts of home.

Louise was communicative and helpful. The apartment is well maintained and within walking distance to the Dainfern Mall. Stunning kitchen! Only small incident for me was that the gate to the complex is within the shopping center bounds, so an additional ticket was required to enter - no cost but it took a while before I found the exact entrance from Ways directions. Very tight security which is a welcome in JHB and Louise even provided helpful information should Uber or take-aways be used. Thanks for a great stay.

Excellent location. A bit of confusion during check in as the apartment wasn't ready, but the maid and the front desk ladies were super kind. We just waited an hour and were able to enjoy the beautiful apartment. This stuff happens.

We had a beautiful stay at Niks place

From the moment we arrived, Louise was available to check us in and explain about the accommodation. She was very responsive to messages, and the studio was well stocked for self catering and for a comfortable stay. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, there was plenty of hot water, and the surroundings were very quiet and peaceful. I would highly recommend Louise’s place for anyone looking to stay in Joburg.
