Well designed and beautifully appointed house. Everything was super clean and felt welcoming and well thought out. Surroundings are simply breathtaking.

My friends and I stayed at Preswick-in-Gowrie for our 10 year reunion and it exceeded expectations. The house itself is beautifully decorated , impeccably maintained and Jess is the most gracious host. She is easy to reach and provides all information that you might need for your stay . I can’t recommend Jess’ home enough .

What a lovely little spot to stay. Plenty of comfy accommodation and seating. Lots of cozy spaces and gorgeous outdoor patio. Fireplaces. Farm feeling. Peaceful and beautiful. Highly recommended for a group or family trip.

What a great weekend away with friends and the place had everything we needed and more for the kids as well. We are already talking about making this an annual trip! Thanks Melissa for letting us use your beautiful home

The cottage is very comfortable, homely and in a beautiful setting. Equipped with all one needs for a weekend away. The driveway is difficult to spot and not particularly well used so a little confusing, but once there we had a fabulous time. Thanks so much xx

We stayed at the house to visit splashy fen, and although it was a 45 minute drive, it was a wonderful and peaceful and spacious home for our large group. Sani pass is not too far away so do pack passports for the trip. The house is in need of a little maintenance here and there but a beautifully decorated home with a stunning view.

Extremely cosy house with amazing views.

Charmane is an excellent host. Her house is like a museum and has a lot of character. The farm is the 9th wonder of the world, with its little surprises that surround it. We enjoyed every moment and will definitely visit again.

Deborah's cottage is special. We spent 7 days there and enjoyed every minute. Deborah was a gracious and patient hostess and ensured that we were well looked after. The cottage is so cozy. The fact that it is off the grid is a huge plus. There is a large fireplace in the lounge and the beds are really comfortable. There are beautiful walks through the bluegum and pine forests that are not strenuous at all. You can also cycle through the forests. We used the canoe provided and loved every minute. If you want a peaceful holiday in a tranquil setting that is far away from the chaos of the city, then this is the place to visit. We would love to return.

It was an absolute magical experience at the cottage with breathtaking views. It was truly relaxing and exactly the break away we needed during the festive season. We really appreciate all the thoughtful touches to the property that were provided Fortunate and Pam were extremely helpful as well Will definitely visit again soon !

The place is absolutely stunning. Tim who manages the property was extremely helpful and always went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable, he is truly an asset to the farm. If I could recommend slight touches - The hot tub takes forever to heat up, it would be great to get a solar blanket as well to retain the heat - A lounger patio would be a great addition to soak up the sun in the afternoons. Overall a stunning place which is nice and secluded, the roads traveling to and from Nottingham road is not the best so I would suggest getting what you need to limit driving up and down

We loved our stay at Hum Lilly - even allowed to bring our little pooch which was an added bonus. Very private setting. Road is a bit of a challenge when it rains but doable (we have sedans and it was fine, just very muddy). The place has a lovely feel to it. It's basic in terms of supplies as it's self catering so make sure you bring things, as it's not like you can just pop to the shops if you run out (like we did!). We wouldn't hesitate to book there again. Loved the fire place in the lounge, the beds were SUPER comfy and all in all, I would recommend it. Certainly worth staying at :)

What an incredibly beautiful relaxing place to stay. Marc and Lee are definitely the best hosts you will ever come across. I can’t wait to get back there.

We had the most wonderful Easter weekend at Sarah’s cottage. It was spacious, clean and comfortable with a beautiful cottage garden perfect for our Easter hunt and our evening braai, as well as a lovely deck for hot morning coffees! Sarah was responsive and accommodating and we can’t wait to return again. A perfect spot for a small family who enjoys the outdoors.

Our family absolutely loved this spot. The boys were out fishing everyday and our little girl lived on the swings and trampoline. The cottage and surroundings are beautiful and peaceful! Such a cozy spot. Everything was so well organized and communicated. We never met Lesley, but this was absolutely okay as she communicated very effectively and everything is clearly explained on site with how everything works. We'll be back!
