we totally enjoyed our stay. We cooked several meals and found the accommodations complete for our cooking needs. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom shower accommodations were excellent also. The house is just a short walk from downtown and we "discovered" our favorite coffee shop called the Collective Coffee. Authentic Italian style Cappuccinos and a very friendly owner. The house is in a very friendly neighborhood and as we came and went we often received a friendly wave and smile from neighbors. We were obviously visitors as we had a small camper towed behind our car. We would definitely return to this Airbnb and recommend it to our friends!

This house is more than just a place to stay—it’s an experience. Beautifully designed, lovingly restored, and luxuriously comfortable. Every touch felt intentional from the layered textiles to the plush bedding and warm lighting. I enjoyed reading about the history of the home and Wheeling in the welcome book and books inside the cabinet. The home was clean, cozy and fully-stocked with thoughtful amenities. The kids loved finding animals in the decor all around the house. Antique shopping at Center Market and walking along the Ohio river were a couple things we did. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Great home with a ton of amenities! The house was warm and welcoming, clean, and located very close to a number of downtown restaurants. Deb was the perfect host checking in with us both when we arrived and departed. We’d definitely stay here again if we ever found ourselves in WV again! Thanks for a great stay!

Really lovely place and super clean! Stayed here with my dogs on a roadtrip. The beds were extremely comfortable and everything was squeaky clean. The host, Stacy, was super responsive and checked in multiple times. I had some trouble with the keypad but she was responding right away and even offered to come to the door and help immediately. The abandoned house next door was a bit spooky especially since we arrived late at night. Also it’s important to note that the yard is very large but it is not fully fenced. Would definitely stay again especially if there was secure fencing around the yard!

Great stay! The house reminded us of a real-life Clue game with “secret” passages that connected each room. They did an amazing job of modernizing things enough to be functional, while still honoring the historic nature of the house. Breakfast and fresh fruit was such a nice touch and we are so grateful!

Great place to stay. Easy convenient check in process. Helpful and friendly host beautiful home. We were just passing through and needed a place to crash for the night and were very pleased with the ease of check in and charm of the home.

Our family of 6 adults was in Steubenville for our daughter's graduation from Franciscan University, and this place worked very well. It was nice and close to campus, clean, comfortable, and convenient. The house is an old, historic home, featuring both the charms and the quirks of older homes (e.g. creaky floorboards), but we'd happily stay here again.

This place is probably the best place I have stayed So unique, peaceful, large and accommodating home. I’d stay here every chance I get Thank you for being a great host!!!

This place is a great rare find airbnb in with swimming pool. Although we couldn’t use the pool due to weather staying under 65F, our kids did enjoyed enough of the hot tub. The rear view is beautiful. Even the dirt clearing side view from distance is worth watching. Free firewood is definitely a great addition. There were enough chairs and towels for 10. The beds and rooms were cleaned and nice. The only drawback was the sound of the traffic as it’s right on the road but we knew and didn’t bother much and owner had nothing to do about it. Parking was more than enough and finding the place was easy. We will be back with kids when the weather is warm enough for using the pool. Thanks Scott & Amanda for hosting us.

This place was absolutely phenomenal. The house itself was very clean. It had tons of space for everyone that came down for the weekend. The game room is such a huge bonus to this stay, we ended up spending most of our time in here. The hot tub is also great and works perfect. I would highly recommend this place and plan to come back in the future!

This is one of the coolest houses you'll ever stay in. we ended up spending most of our time at the house and it was super comfortable. Everybody had their own spaces and then some! We were a little worried about the weather because it was going to be in the '60s, but they crank the heat up to 82° on the pool for us and it was awesome! I had to work some Friday morning and the office was perfect for my needs. The kitchen stove was excellent to cook on and they had iron skillets as well which made the food perfect.

Randall was great to communicate with, and I would definitely return .

Wonderful time on a beautiful lake!

My husband and I had a stay booked before we unexpectedly had to put our dog down. So, we last minute decided to book a different location so we wouldn’t be reminded that she couldn’t be there. Stephen was very responsive and friendly when booking. We stayed a few nights and wished we had off work to extend our stay! It was so peaceful and relaxing, exactly what we needed. Our Yellow Lab absolutely loved it too! The hot tub was so clean and relaxing as well. The location is beautiful, would be very pretty in winter and fall as well. Service can be spotty but the wifi helped and we didn’t need our phones too much anyway. For $10, we checked out Tappan Lake Park which was really cool- they had a little beach, playgrounds, etc. Check in and out were easy as well. We for sure will be booking again!!

We had a great time at the Redwood cabin! Even though it's a tight squeeze for two, we were able to have our 8-month old son in his pack and play and our dog fit. The owner called me before to warn me of the tight squeeze and make sure that's what we wanted. Scenery is superb and cabin itself feels well-organized and very clean. Bottled water and the Keurig was a great touch. Word to the wise - there is an outhouse-style toilet that's right at the base of the Redwood cabin. Also, they don't major on it in the listing, but the bathrooms with showers are extremely nice and homey. Great value and great location.
