This cozy little house, finished in 2020, is located on a small working ranch in Harney County, Oregon. Come to the ranch and relax in the wide open or go explore the many things around the county. Room for a horse in the corrals or pasture. Well-mannered dogs welcome, but please bring a bed or crate for them. I'd rather not have animals on the furniture. A Wi-Fi repeater is available in the cabin (if the weather is stormy the Wi-Fi can be spotty). Phone service and shopping areas getting here are few & far between. This is rural living. Enjoy the quietness of the country and a beautiful sage brush view.

Welcome to the Mickel House! This cute house is located just blocks away from a cute park. It’s also a few miles from Burns where there is a good selection of restaurants and shopping. We are close to the Steens Mountains, Malhuer Wildlife refuge and so much more! Harney County is the best place to bird watch in the spring, with over 300 different species of birds migrating through!

Pets are welcome, we just ask that you try to keep them off the furniture. Keep in mind Wi-Fi is very weak as we live in a spot that is somewhat surrounded by rim rock.
