Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Haren

We had a wonderful stay despite the weather being a bit against us. The accommodation is complete and equipped with all comforts. Good bed, complete kitchen, wonderful shower. Location in nature. Great for walking and cycling. Contact with host was very pleasant. Repeatable. Petri and René

We were 4 adults and two babies and had a nice, relaxing time in the lake house :) In the kitchen, everything you need for cooking is available, including baby or children's dishes :) Salt and pepper and a starter pack of coffee and sugar were also provided. In general, the house is very well equipped for children or families :) A Kaufland and a few other food stores are a 10-minute walk away, which is very, very convenient. The area is great, you can do a lot. We also liked to use the canoe (life jackets for the little ones are also available) :) Communication was also great and prompt, and questions and problems were also addressed :) Only the early check-out at 10 a.m. caused us some trouble, but this is not in Jannik's hands. All in all a real recommendation :)

We were traveling with two small children. The house was perfectly furnished, equipped and even in bad weather there were enough excursion destinations in the area (e.g. indoor playground, swimming pool). We will be happy to come back!

We enjoyed it very much overall. The surroundings are very quiet and you can relax perfectly. It takes some time for the hot tub to be really hot, but it's worth the wait. 😊 Nothing was missing in the apartment. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the bed as it was pretty saggy. Of course, it is still convenient for a weekend. Really recommend!!!

We immediately felt at home in this great accommodation! Mia made it easy for us with her hospitality to feel right at home right away. The accommodation is a gem, the garden a dream! For us as a family with a small child (4 years), a perfect place to relax, start excursions and just breathe! You can feel the love for detail in every corner!

Beautiful and nice accommodation if you are looking for peace and nature. Friendly host who is quick to respond and happy to help. I really enjoyed the accommodation and would definitely recommend it. Anything you need is present. The bed is nice, the shower works well and the space is large enough for at least 2 people with a nice outdoor space.

It was just great! One of the most beautiful accommodations we have visited so far. With so much attention to detail, Janet and Auke have created a feel-good oasis that leaves nothing to be desired. A wonderful place to relax, recharge your batteries and enjoy both the beautiful home and the surroundings to the fullest. We had a wonderful weekend at this place. It is very centrally located, beautifully furnished and leaves nothing to be desired. Johannes greeted us personally and gave us helpful tips for parking, so we could park our car safely and free of charge. The stay was pleasant all around – we will be happy to come back!

The few days at Volker's were very nice. We felt right at home after we were very warmly welcomed by Volker. The apartment is the perfect place for a break, and we got numerous tips for beautiful excursions. Volker was always a helpful point of contact and impeccable host. My child was able to feed Volker's chickens and collect the eggs, we were allowed to help ourselves in the spacious herb garden and pancakes were fried for us by the common campfire. Thank you for the wonderful time! We will hopefully come back. :-)

Niko’s Garden house is a very special place to stay in the residential area close to centre of Groningen. It is surrounded by blocks of houses, still provides an island of peace and real retreat after heavy day of sightseeing, walking… Niko was very helpful and supportive during our visit, and we would highly recommend his house to travelers who prefer an authentic accommodation experience as an alternative to hotel room. Really had a wonderful stay in this lovely and spotless apartment. It has a quiet, location, exactly what we wanted. There is a very complete kitchen and bathroom. The living room is spacious and well furnished and the beds sleep wonderfully. Wonderful garden with several seats. We will definitely come back.

We stayed with Regina and Heiko for two nights and would have liked to stay longer. Both are very friendly and accommodating. Despite the very hot weather, it was cool in the apartment and the gazebo in the garden invited you to linger in the evening. We were very comfortable and thank the two of them - Merci!

Peaceful surroundings, nicely accessible by bike. Helmut was very flexible and helpful with suggestions. Warmly recommended!

This stay was our first Airbnb experience and we are super happy how wonderful the apartment with roof terrace was. We felt totally comfortable and were definitely not here for the last time. We got great tips and really enjoyed the area. Thank you very much for everything! ❤️

The apartment is very clean, beautiful location in the countryside! Unfortunately, the photovoltaic system on the roof makes an unpleasant noise in the sun, otherwise you can really switch off and enjoy the peace! Check-out at 10:00 is quite early!

Jannie and Arnold were great hosts, Arnold met us when we drove in and showed us the house. They gave us tips for restaurants in the area and supplied is with everything we needed for our night stay. The place is beautiful and peaceful, 10 minutes drive from Groningen. Would recommend for a peaceful weekend away.

As always, Tim's apartment was just a dream. This time we were here with our one-year-old son and thanks to the high chair and super bed situation, it was also just great! The size is great and the location is just perfect for the south beach but also easily accessible by public transport. We will be happy to come back!

We had a very nice stay at Gerben's. The apartment was clean and equipped with every comfort. Thanks to the quiet location and the nice bed, we slept well. Gerben is a very friendly host. Who knows, we might come back to explore the area a little better. Thanks for everything!

We only stayed there for one night on our way. It is certainly worth staying here longer. There are plenty of hiking and cycling options. The space is surprisingly large, especially for two people. Well rested, we were able to continue our journey the next day.

Had a great stay! Great location within walking distance of central Groningen. Very clean and cosy. Loved the little patio. We hope we can come back soon.

Stayed one night with Kevin. It is a very spacious apartment where we could really relax. The next day we left for home, so we did not see the area. There was also a high chair ready for our son. Recommended!
