Farmstay holiday rentals in Hardangerfjord

Annike's place was great. The power unexpectedly went out one morning but she was very responsive and her husband set us up with a supply of water. It was nothing they had any control over and it was back on when we returned from our day of sightseeing. We walked the road in the evening and it was very pleasant.

Had a great stay in the cabin over a weekend. Just a few minutes' drive from Mikkelparken, which was the main destination of our trip to Kinsarvik. The cabin is idyllically located among the apple orchards, and I had some quiet moments with fishing down by the fjord, while our boys had fun rolling down the hill and jumping on the trampoline that was available to us. Beautiful cottage and surroundings – highly recommended!

We had a great time in the cabin of Heidi and Tor Arne. It is beautifully located and has a great hiking trail next to it. The cabin is nicely decorated and absolutely spotless. The communication was very friendly and Heidi's recommendations for activities in the neighborhood were great. We can highly recommend this cabin.

A beautiful place, close to the side roads in Apalvegen and wonderful by the fjord. Everything was top class, and good equipment both inside and in the outdoor area. We are six ladies who have had a great time.

The house is warm and offers breathtaking views. It is well-equipped with everything we needed, and the location is just a 10-minute drive from Trolltunga and close to Odda. Our host, Airin, provided us with a warm welcome and was very responsive to our needs throughout our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the four days we spent here and hope to visit again in the future.

Our stay at Sylvelin’s was incredible from the moment we arrived until the day we had to leave. The cabin is cozy and we so enjoyed sitting by the fire in the evenings. The farm is a joy and we loved seeing the baby lambs since it was spring. They invited us to watch the sheep be sheered and let our children play with all of the toy equipment outside. The cabin is about 35 minutes drive from Bergen and we were able to get there and other outdoor places easily. I can’t recommend this Airbnb more.

Great place for the whole family to get out of the everyday struggle. Recommend!

We spent fantastic days at Kjetils house, it was just like we hoped it to be according to the pictures, very cozy house (even bigger living/kitchen area than we expected) in a stunning landscape. Of course spending the long dark nights in the outdoor pool was not only for our children an absolut highlight! (And eben seeing the northern lights one day!) Kjetil always answered immediately any question, just had some minor issues when we arrived in the dark. We would definitely like to come back one day!

We had a lovely stay at the cabin and wish we'd had longer. It's a beautiful location and was lovely to wake up to the surrounding views and horses outside every morning. Ine was a super friendly and helpful host!

Absolutely amazing accommodation, in the middle of the mountains, by the lake, on a farm among animals. The house was big, beautifully renovated and everything was perfectly prepared, comfortable and clean. Zofia is very nice and communicative. It was a pity that we were only passing through and could only stay one night, maybe we will come back sometime.🙏 Thanx a lot, maybe nextime. 🥰

Janicke's 'Tiny House' was a lovely humble place to stay while in Flam. It was more than adequate for our needs. We were very grateful to have both a washing machine and dryer to use. The view of the waterfall outside your window was so relaxing while having a coffee. Thank you so much Janicke for letting us stay in your peaceful little home. Karen & Peter ☺️

From start to finish, our experience was absolutely perfect. The place was exactly as described—spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, offering great recommendations and making check-in a breeze. It’s clear they really care about their guests' experience. You feel right at home in Kristin and Morten's cottage. It is very cozy and nothing is missing. The underfloor heating in the bathroom, the hallway and the lower bedroom was quickly very warm and the living room can be heated very well with the stove in the shortest possible time (our daytime temperatures were below and around 10° in May). Firewood is free and you can also charge the e-car for free if you have an adapter for a 230 volt household socket. Both are really very nice gestures! Kristin responds very quickly and Morten was always patiently available for our many questions. The cat and the chickens, which roam freely, also gave us a lot of joy. The location is perfect for endless possibilities for day trips from Voss to Odda and Bergen. We hope to have the pleasure of spending some time on your farm again! Thanks for a great week.

This place is 11 out of 10!! A place of dreams. The location and house are absolutely stunning and Mette and Kristian are beyond fabulous hosts always going above and beyond! Our favorite parts of the stay: kayaking in the morning sunlight around the little inlets, fishing from the dock, a sunset sauna or hot tub followed by a fjord cold plunge/swim, relaxing on the deck with a beer, sipping coffee while watching the birds and listening to the waves lap against the dock, cooking in the well stocked kitchen and more. We will be back!!!

My friends and I loved staying here! It was special to be able to experience this farm that’s been in the same family for so many generations. We loved the view and the location! The host was so kind and the house was very clean.

This was such a peaceful place with a stunning view. We couldn’t have stayed at a better home.

What a lovely stay! The farm is so peaceful. We went with friends and our 13 month old daughter who loved seeing the sheep, and running around the yard. The place was fantastic for kids (high chair, crib, toys). We had the best time walking around the property, cooking delicious food, going in the hot tub and we even took the boat out for a special trip! There’s a sauna 10 minutes down the road which was a treat. Easy 1 hour drive from Bergen. Highly recommend!

What a beautiful location this is! Around the farm you can make beautiful short walks, it's really a beautiful environment. A large part of this area belongs to the farm, sheep, cows, horses, chickens and pigs walk everywhere. for us nice, but especially for our son. He also really appreciated the playground. The house is spacious, light, neat and equipped with all comforts. Owners are very friendly and respond quickly to questions. We had a very nice stay.

Staying at Otillie’s cabin was a HUGE splurge for us, but the minimalist cabin is well thought out, nicely designed, and beautifully sited with a SPECTACULAR view up the fjord—enjoyed from the kitchen/living area, bathroom, and MBR. Fabulous! Happily, the cabin is set uphill from town and away from the hordes which descend from the visiting cruise ships. One thing to note however, is that it’s a steep walk up to the cabin—not a problem for us, but could be for someone who doesn’t walk much. We didn’t do any real cooking, but the kitchen had the basics if we had chosen to. We had a wonderful stay at Otillie’s and would love to stay again in the future.

Great location and very nice surrounding. There were odd flies inside the property but it is end of summer and it is in the nature. Lovely Jacuzzi and sauna.

Good space, nice for children, and pleasant hosts. Recommended :)

We had the pleasure to spend a wonderful long weekend in Hardanger at Gro and Øystein's magnificent place. I can highly recommend it to everyone and would definitely come back!
