Due to the renovation of ancient houses, there are rooms that are difficult to open and close, and there are places where you can feel the gap.Please refrain from using it if you are concerned about dust, insects, etc. I recommend it for those who can enjoy camping. * Please note that turtle bugs appear in autumn and spring. The ceiling fan, and antique lights were added during the renovation. There are rooms in which furniture will not open and close smoothly as well as many drafts. If you do not want to encounter insects or be in a dusty environment, you may want to avoid staying here. On the other hand, if you love camping, we highly recommend staying here!

It is a home stay at a private house in a quiet residential area. An artist in her 60's and two cats live in a Japanses style house. You are wellcomed as a member of the family, so we can cook and chat together. If you like, I can help you with sightseeing, kimono dressing and instract creating Japanse Paper art. You can enjoy the snowy landscape and natural hot spring in Winter too. If you can cook together, breakfast will be served. I hope you can have an unique stay in Japan.

Oarai entire house (24 hour for self check-in)

Our house was renovated recently. 13 - 15 mins to Oarai station by walk. We also have several bicycles for visitors. You can use them for free. Since we don't live in this house currently, you can use entire home, and all rooms in the house. Please ask us about the price and room available, if you are interested.
