Family-friendly holiday rentals in Hanalei

Veronica’s condo was exactly what we needed to enjoy our Honeymoon in Kauai! The location was our favorite aspect, you could get to each side of the island within an hour and we did so many activities that the location was perfect. The condo itself is exactly as described and the pool and grounds are beautiful. The sunrises from the beach right out front are gorgeous and we really enjoyed all the chickens running around. We would absolutely stay with Veronica again in Kauai.

Clean, comfortable accommodation for a family of 4. We very much enjoyed our time there. Nice pool and hot tub to use. Great location, lovely place for a morning walk. Would recommend

An absolutely impeccable rental condo. Everything was in pristine condition and exactly as described and hoped for. It's rare to encounter a rental property in such amazing shape. We would absolutely stay here again.

This was a great stay for my sister and I’s annual girls trip. The only thing I was thrown off by was that there’s actually only one bathroom inside the house, the other two are technically outside. The place is smaller than I thought it would be too, kind of the same size as my apartment in DC. BUT, this is the cleanest, most well decorated air b n b I’ve ever stayed in. In terms of decorations and quality of linens and towels and bed comfort, it easily compares to a four seasons or better. I also would definitely recommend staying in this part of the island versus poipu or princeville, this neighborhood actually feels like a local place and isn’t overrun with tourists. Also shoutout to Guy, the manager of the property who lives next door, we loved meeting him!

This condo was a great place to stay in Princeville! It was clean, well equipped and in a great location! It was also super nice to have the pool within such a short walking distance, and loads of beach gear for guests to use. They had beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, toys and even a wagon, which was great for a family with small kids. A couple of things I didn’t realize before booking: you have to request a pack and play ahead of time for an extra fee (the listing had it on the amenities list so I assumed it was always just in the condo for guest use) and the washing machine is extremely loud, like sounds like an airplane taking off loud, so start the load when you’re going out for the day or won’t mind the excessive noise. Other than those two minor things this was an awesome condo that I would recommend.

Had everything we needed for a lovely stay in a quiet, beautifully landscaped complex on the beach (as long as you don’t mind roosters crowing, which I personally loved.) We also appreciated the close proximity to restaurants and other stores. (Do check out the Lava Lava next door—sitting along the beach, listening to live music while sipping the delicious Lava drink was the perfect ending to our days!) I loved that we were centrally located on the island, as we journeyed many times to both the north and south sides of the island. All in all, a perfect place to enjoy our Hawaiian vacation! Mahalo!

We had a great time here! We loved the location next to the Grand Hyatt and all that they have to offer. You can walk to shipwreck beach 5-10 min. Geralyn was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay. it was hard for us to find a place last minute that would accommodate 7 guests. this place worked out great it's just the right amount of beds. if you are looking to stay in Poipu/Koloa this is a great option. We loved all the beach gear available for use in the garage. Very convenient. Hope to be back again sometime in the future.

If we could rate more than 5 stars, we would. Our stay in Kauai at the Nihilani resort was highlighted by our stay at Dhivya's lovely home. We've stayed in 20+ Airbnb's and this place by far was one of the best experiences. The place was clean, very organized, beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed to accommodate our stay. We made most of our meals at home and had everything we needed. The place had more than enough space for our family of four and the location was very convenient for walks to beaches, bike path and jogs. Our girls especially loved being right across the driveway from the pool, which is also very nice. We are already missing our morning coffee on the lanai's with beautiful views. Dhivya was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We definitely look forward to staying here again.

Annie and Greg, had amazing communication from prior to our stay until after our stay. They were very friendly and kind, answered any questions that we had, as well as responding very swiftly to things. There home was gorgeous, it had all the amenities you would need. If you needed anything else the grocery store was just up the street a quick walk or drive would it. My husband and I love staying in princeville when we go to kauai. We would absolutely stay here again, we loved their home. It was very clean and cozy. Even without AC the fans worked great and they also had an additional fan if you required extra air. the balcony had a great view too. We do wish we used the pool sooner it was so warm. You can walk down to the beach area or a quick drive. Annie and Greg make you feel so comfortable and offer amazing tips for your stay to be smooth. Thank you Annie and Greg you're wonderful people and for opening up your beautiful home in paradise 💙

There was a power outage the moment we got there so things were a little confusing. Cleaning people arrived shortly after we communicated with Annie and we found out the whole area was without power. We went to Foodland, only 5 minutes away, to see if we could pick up any groceries there and then power came back on. So we were able to grab some snacks and dinner. Then get officially checked in. Annie was very responsive and let us know what was going on a best as she could. We were very comfortable there. Slept well. Listening to the rain showers or birds chirping. Highly recommend.

Our stay at Liuni's place was incredible! We rented a couple houses in the neighborhood for our group, and could not be happier with Luini's home and her and Tanya's support throughout our stay. Communication was amazing, the house was incredibly clean, amazing location, and had everything we needed. It's in the neighborhood of Queens Bath which is a must-see in Kauai and makes it SO easy because parking is not always accessible for that trail, but we could just walk to it! I highly recommend staying here. It is absolutely worth the price and was so nice to be able to sleep our group of 7. I am so grateful for this experience and Liuni and Tanya's kindness and flexibility with our group.

Loved the room. View was beautiful and the resort was gorgeous. The pool was fun and water was warm. The parking is kind of a hike to where your room is. You have to valet sometimes too. Sometimes the valet double parks so plan accordingly with getting your car. They do have a golf cart service that can take you to and from your room to the lot if you call ahead. We never used it because we didn’t mind the stroll but just a heads up. Also room didn’t have a microwave. It wasn’t advertised that they had one but I assumed they would. No big deal but another heads up if you plan on staying here.

This is such a special place! The sunsets and sunrises over the golf course and ocean are gorgeous, the condo is everything you could want, and we were lucky enough to stay during albatross nesting season! A perfect baby albatross (who we named Carlos, let me know if someone wants to update his name) was nesting RIGHT in the yard. We had so much fun here and can’t wait to return! Bonus for lots of books, games, puzzles, and beach stuff in the condo! Mahalo

It was amazing house! Very spacious, perfect for our family. Everyone could have their own space. The house was exceptionally clean and had everything what we needed. The view from lanai was stunning! We could sit there with a cup of coffee all day… Thank you for making us feel like home…. home in paradise 😍

highly recommend this place- beautiful setting right on the beach, third floor with elevator-beautiful sunrises, just downstairs is beach to walk along. It is convenient to airport, and you can easily drive to other areas on the island. Kitchen and condo has basic household supplies like some kitchen staples, laundry soap. Michael responds almost immediately to questions and follows up on things as needed.

Second time staying at this lovely place. Beautiful location, extremely close to the ocean and surrounded by incredible sights. Tom is responsive, accommodating, and friendly. This is a must stay in Kauai!

Incredible views.

Jayne’s villa was outstanding! It was very clean and tidy, and the A/C in the bedroom was a bonus. The location was perfect, easy to get to Kukuiula Shopping Center, Poipu Beach, and Kōloa town. We will definitely stay here again!

The location was the best on the island ...at least for us. We had unreal views of Hanalei and the sunset.Hanalei town is close and adorable. We are snorkelers and our best experience was steps from our condo at Hideaways beach. We saw tons of fish, a few sea turtles, and even an octopus. I must mention that the trail down is super close and short' but gnarly. The condo itself had everything we needed and the lanais were spectacular. The furniture was not terribly comfortable and there were a few maintenance projects needed to be addressed' but nothing that would keep me away from booking this place again. Mahalo Noel
