Holiday rentals with lake access in Halsnæs Municipality

We were 12 guests, and it worked perfectly with room distribution and common areas, and everything worked. Beautiful surroundings, peace and quiet. Should we note anything, there is a lack of lighting in the ceilings, and that there were no curtains in all the windows in the bedrooms. But otherwise a wonderful holiday home for many guests and great hospitality from the host. Happy to visit the place again.

We loved our stay in this little Utopia of Dyssekilde Ecovillage. If we could all live like this the world would be a better place. Super welcoming and flexible host.

We were enchanted from the first moment by the incredibly warm and loving landlady, by the great stylish accommodation, the fantastic garden, the sweet cats. The surrounding area is great too and we did nice explorations, but actually the house, garden and cats would have been enough for the perfect relaxation. We hope to repeat this special break there again. Thank you Helle!

A great place to stay with everything you need

We had a lovely time here at Mads’s house! Only three of us stayed here but we could have fit a couple more very easily there was more than enough sleeping room. This house is so cozy and the surrounding area is gorgeous. You can hear horses whinnying in the distance in the morning and sometimes at night we would just stop on our way home in front of the door and look up at the stars. We loved the week we spent here, and I suggest anyone who’s interested give this place a try!

Mad's family home is a delightful lakeside home with private dock and 10-minute walk to the local train station that could not be easier and better-connected. For those looking to be in a natural setting and within 25-minutes by train to the city, I cannot think of a more ideal location to spend one's vacation. We were traveling with two children. The spacious rooms, big kitchen and outside garden were perfect for what we needed. The kitchen is well-equipped. The artwork on the walls speak to many great travels and artistic inspiration. It's worth staying in a home like this for the experience of being part of something with a felt history. I wholeheartedly recommend the stay.

We stayed in this apartment for the second time. It is very cozy, has everything you need. The location is just great! Shops and restaurants are within walking distance.

We had 2 amazing weeks here. Amazing surroundings with proximity to great hiking/biking trails and beautiful beaches. Extra plus with all the toys in the cabin that the kids had a great time with.

A great apartment that is even better and bigger than described and you can see in the photos. Nothing is missing, everything is very clean, and the place is private. The rooftop terraces are very large and a nice place to drink coffee and soak up the sun. Both train station, supermarket and the beach are at 2 minutes walking distance. Perfect place for walking or biking trips to Gilleleje, Hornbæk and/or a nice train ride to Helsingør. Abelone and Michael are incredibly friendly hosts who are also helpful with local tips. I can really recommend the place. 5 stars from here, all the way through ! Thank you for a wonderful weekend. I'll definitely be there another time.

A very nice and bright apartment with a great roof terrace, not far from Frederiksborg Castle and with a variety of shopping and walking options. The train to Copenhagen is easily accessible in 7 minutes on foot, a lake is located directly opposite the house. Tina is a very friendly and helpful hostess and was always there for us, we had a 5***** de luxe stay and would be happy to come back.

A lovely appartment with everything you need for your stay. We enjoyed it very much!

We were 7 adults and one child and the house was ideal for that with 4 small rooms, a large living room where we all found good space and a beautiful garden. The sea was close and you almost had the beach to yourself and could enjoy beautiful sunsets. Communication with Ole was friendly and smooth!

Top (quiet) location in full nature near Copenhagen. Train by bike to Copenhagen. Station a 6 minutes from the house. Kitchen was well equipped with everything. Tip : dark curtains in the bedroom. See you next time !!

Large summerhouse, with room for 6 people. Super beach a little km away. Rørvig Harbour can be reached by bike, or a 30 minute walk Nykøbing is about 30 minutes by bike. The area is quiet and very beautiful. The cottage is fine, with good opportunities to eat both outside and inside. The house is equipped with everything you need.

It was what we were looking for.

A little paradise into the forest! We had a wonderful week with our curated family with adolescents, everyone had enough space to retreat. We gratefully made use of the outdoor shower, the bikes and the outdoor bed, the surroundings and the path to the beach is beautiful! Mie is a treasure and makes delicious organic products.

Highly recommend Marie-Louise as a host. Communication and service were top notch throughout and the house was in every way a pleasure to stay in. A truly unique home, in the best location in the middle of the forest and a stone's throw from the water. Clean and delicious and not least super cool decorated - both inside and out. We will definitely be going back to this lovely gem 👌🏽

An unforgettable New Year's holiday in Christine's charming summerhouse We had the most amazing experience at Christine's cozy and well-appointed house, where we spent two relaxing days over the New Year. From the start, we felt in safe hands thanks to Christine's friendly and welcoming communication. She was always available and made sure we had everything we needed to have a lovely stay. The house itself is incredibly charming, comfortable, and clean with an atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. It is located in the most beautiful surroundings where nature really comes into its own – perfect for both relaxation and walks. All in all, we can only give our warmest recommendations to Christine's house. It was the perfect setting for our New Year's getaway, and we definitely hope to come back again! I rented Thue's place with a few friends for a get-away weekend and it was a fantastic time. The space is lovely and quaint. Both the annex and the main house have a lot of charm. Most things were available such as toilet paper and tea, so we didn't need to go buy anything extra -- but it would help to have a car or bike in order to run the the closest store in case you need something. The only thing to be aware of that we didn't expect was that it was chilly in the main house, even though it was late May and that the house lays directly on a road, which meant that the garden isn't completely private - but for the most part, there wasn't a too many people walking or driving by. Also, the checkout on Sunday felt a bit early for us!
