I was very fond of the apartment. It is at the end of a nice street with a few shops and a hotel with a doorman and you feel safe and it is pleasantly quiet there. In the house there are only 2 neighbours, an artist on the ground floor and a family on the first floor where the apartment is located. The neighborhood is really great, it is close to a lake and park where I often sat and there are many places to eat around the corner. Nevertheless it is not as noisy and touristic as the old town which you can reach in 10 minutes by foot. The room is great with the huge windows and beautiful tiles. What you can't see on the pictures is that there is another bed next to the big bed which you can reach by the stairs. The stairs then lead even higher to the terrace. For me it was no problem that the own bathroom was located opposite to the flat. Due to the reason that there is only one neighbour on this floor, everything is very relaxed. I was surprised that in the bathroom there was even a small Kirchen sink, a water boiler and dishes and cutlery. Some instant noodles or fruit can be prepared in a relaxed way. But the host was an absolute dream. I had a few wishes like a bedside lamp or flower vase and he lent me everything the very next day. The communication is always lightning fast and you can always rely on the host's answer and his help. Thank you so much!

Our stay was outstanding. Traveling with two kids and my wife's sister meant we were a larger group, but the space was perfect for us. The thoughtful layout provided a lower room with a locking door for my sister-in-law, while we comfortably occupied the two upper bedrooms. The place is nestled down a quiet side street away from traffic noise, yet still in the heart of the city. I enjoyed peaceful mornings working from the balcony surrounded by the unique and fascinating architecture of the neighborhood. The apartment's eclectic and inventive design made our stay enjoyable and convenient. We started our days with breakfast in the cozy kitchen, followed by explorations around Hanoi, and returned to a relaxing environment. Lucie and Mei were also exceptional hosts. They assisted us in arranging a private city tour, a day trip to Ninh Binh, and an unforgettable overnight cruise on Ha Long Bay. Their efforts greatly enhanced our Hanoi experience, making our trip easy and memorable.
