Kinley's Homestay has a traditional Bhutanese interiors and we liked it. It felt like we travelled back in time. Her family has been waarm to us and had a great time interacting with them

We loved our stay at this homestay. The location is the most beautiful surrounded with mountains everywhere. Dema and Thincho are excellent hosts, they helped us with everything that we needed. If you stay here, dont miss the hot stone bath, it will help you with pain and soreness after the trek to tigers nest. What we loved most was the secluded location of the place, it takes 12-13 minutes with taxi from airport to reach the place, hence it is super peaceful and quiet. There is a stream down the farmland, that is very beautiful for a walk or to sit and enjoy the calmness. I would definitely love to visit again. Thanks to Thincho, Dema and their daughter for their hospitality and kindness. 👍🏼💛

Nice bhutanese home. She has maintained antique utensils and furniture in home. You can have nice hot stone bath. Nice home made food prepared from veges from her own farm. Hand bitten rice with chemical free vegetables are treat to be enjoyed . Very close to tiger nest monestry but away from main city. You can enjoy nice tea and evening breeze in balcony

Dema Village Homestay was one of the best experiences i ever had on Airbnb. Kencho the owner was the best host. He was very nice, helpful and catered to all of my requests. We did archery, hot stone bath and authentic Bhutanese food straight from his kitchen. He took me to Tigers Nest and was able to drive me to town and airport. His home was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. I give 5 stars and recommend everyone this place. I will return again. Thank You Kencho.

Pros: The room is nice, clean & modern. It’s cozy to stay in, and the host accommodated my request for a room where I could sleep peacefully. All the female staff are well-trained. My room didn’t include breakfast, so I ordered it separately. The food was good & you can enjoy a continental breakfast (pancakes, tea, bread and jam, fruits). However, be sure to double-check the prices, as the rate card on the menu may be outdated. Cons: Since this is an Airbnb room, your payment does not include accommodation for your guide and driver. In Bhutan, unlike many other countries, independent travel is not allowed—you’ll always be accompanied by a guide and driver. If the host doesn’t provide them with a room (and to some extent, meals), they may have to stay elsewhere. This can raise safety concerns for your guide, and it’s an uncomfortable situation for every one of this extra expense. However, in my case, the host kindly provided a room for both driver and guide, so the issue was resolved.

Haa Heritage Hotel is newly constructed and hence the property and the rooms are fresh and shiny. The basic toiletries and amenities were available that made our stay quite comfortable. The rooms at the upper floors has lovely views of the Haa Valley. The hosts are very kind and hospitable. They went out of their way to treat us with lip- smacking Indian Veg food. Haa is a small quaint valley and the location of the property is just 2-3 mins from the main town. We had our dinner meals at the Cafe owned by the hosts in the main town. The hosts even went out of their way to pack us our picnic lunch early morning. All in all we had a great stay at Haa Heritage Hotel and would recommend all the tourists traveling to this beautiful valley to book their stay here without hesitation.

We stayed as a couple for 1 night in Kinleys home and had a very pleasant stay. We had a warm welcoming with tea and snacks and later in the evening we were invited to partake in preparing dinner. We had a delicious dinner with fresh produce from the homestay. Kinley and his family were very kind and we had a wonderful stay.

Thank you for a very nice place to stay and for your hospitality. The food you prepared was amazing and we felt well taken care of. Nice spacious rooms, atmosphere and peaceful location of the home. Highly recommend!
