Beachfront holiday rentals in Gwynedd

Great stay, we had 5 nights as a family of four with plenty of room for one another. A stones throw from local amenities, 10 min walk to the local shop, beach and even shorter to the nearest couple of pubs.

Joanne is the most wonderful host and the apartment was everything you could wish for and more. Not only beautiful inside, but its positioning overlooking the sea was glorious and Joanne has made sure you can make the most of that view with seating in both bay windows. The apartment was really nicely presented and had everything you could need for a family stay. Lisa was great at communicating and the apartment guide was super helpful both for the property and the area. Being literally across the road from the beach was fantastic, sometimes we didn't even put our sandy shoes back on to get home! We chose this place because it suited our family of 3 (no stairs for our 1 year old) and after we'd moved all the ornaments out of reach it was perfect, although you could have happily had a much larger family there. Would stay here again!

What an absolutely gorgeous apartment and location with the sight and sound of the sea at your back door. A rare find indeed and one that we will happily return to.

The place was magical and knew I’d miss it before I even left. The location on the estuary is so dreamy. Walkable to Barmouth for supplies. The place felt incredibly private. Really enjoyed slowing down the pace of life and always pleasantly surprised by the beautiful view from the living room. Lovely bunch of flowers on arrival and plenty of logs for the wood burning stove.

Absolutely wonderful apartment. It was so clean and tidy - pristine condition. Very comfortable furnishings and everything you could possibly need to self cater. Such a peaceful spot on the harbour. We couldn't believe how quiet it was but still close to lots of amenities such as shops, restaurants and pubs. Lesley was great to communicate with and was so prompt with any emails. Definitely worth the money and we will certainly return.

Had the best stay, Amelia was fantastic, so responsive and gave great recommendations! We felt very spoilt staying here as the views were stunning, the apartment was beautifully done and great for a girls weekend as there are mirrors everywhere! We absolutely loved it and cannot recommend Amelia or the apartment more!

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful sea front lodge! The views were absolutely stunning. The lodge itself was incredibly spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. One of the unexpected highlights was the wine fridge – such a nice touch that made our evenings even more enjoyable! Despite being in a busier area, the lodge felt incredibly peaceful and private, offering the perfect balance between convenience and tranquility. We booked this as a special treat for my mum’s 50th birthday, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. She absolutely loved it and felt so spoiled. The setting, the comfort, and the little extras made it a truly memorable celebration. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a scenic, comfortable, and relaxing break by the sea. We’ll definitely be back!

We loved our stay 😃 first time staying in a caravan with our 3 children (9,7,2) so much more spacious then I thought. Being so close to the beach was wonderful and we went every day! We also went to nearby Barmouth beach and town, climbed Cadair Idris, and visited Conwy castle (1hr 1/2 drive away) could definitely stay longer as so many more places we could have visited. Even managed a morning in the pool which is onsite open 10-4 daily. We had all types of weather as typical of Wales, but very windy when we stayed and the WiFi and Tv didn’t have good reception- wasn’t a bad thing in my opinion as wanted time together away from those distractions. In the evening there were some DVDs that we could snuggle up together and watch as down time. Would recommend for a family.

Lovely location for the weekend, was worth it just for the views from the caravan. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay for Snowdonia national park, beaches and Portmeireon. Quiet time of year for our stay. Well stocked kitchen and great instructions for bathroom use.

What a fabulous find!! Right near the entrance so very easy to find, easy to get into caravan and so lovely inside! Very homely and felt comfortable straight away. Plenty of room for the 5 of us, all adults. Sofa bed worked a treat and was very comfortable. Needed a bit of heating once or twice and boiler was so easy to understand. Site was lovely, although quite a large one, was very peaceful and right by the beach! Would definitely recommend Annabelle’s place, without doubt, good value and we will be booking again!!

Pete’s communication was quick and clear. The flat is in the perfect spot on the beach and an easy walk into town. It was a little cold when we arrived in the basement rooms but it soon warmed up. A great spot for families and friends.

A lovely week spent with the family here at Bath cottage. Everything we could wish for right here. So peaceful, in beautiful surroundings. Will definitely recommend to our friends and hope it’s not too long before we can visit here again. Thanks to Dawn we have made some great memories.

Next time we choose to visit Barmouth we will be seeing if this property is available to stay again. Very homely (top floor) apartment which contained everything we needed and more for our weekend away. Fantastic location - beach, cliff walks and the town centre were all immediately available, yet the apartment itself we found to be very peaceful. The parking permit provided as part of booking this property was also a real bonus. Thanks also to Craig and Jenny were super quick to respond from booking through to checkout; was greatly appreciated ☺️

Wow what an incredible stay. 6 of us spent 3 nights here for my mother in laws 70th family get together. We wanted a place in Anglesey with three bathrooms and in nature. This ticked all the boxes, but what really stood out for us was the property had everything we could have needed to feel at home right away. The view through the living room windows is phenomenal. We barely had the TV on because we were looking outside. The nearby walks in nature are amazing and the pit stop in the Crown pub and jaspels cider place all within walking distance was an added bonus. Plus being so close to Rhosneigr was great. We didn’t have a great deal of sun when we were there so we weren’t able to take advantage of the outdoor space fully. But when we did, it felt so peaceful. We hope to return here again, thank you!

Pleasant, comfortable apartment with great views for watching activities in the harbour. Good bakery in the High Street and amazing Portmeirion three floor kitchenware and household shop at the far end of High Street. Host, Emma provided all we needed. Brian and Ann

We had a fantastic 2 night stay in the Upper Deck apartment. The view was wonderful and the apartment had everything we needed. Julian kept us constantly informed and left a gift for our honeymoon. Kind regards Cath & Albie

Beautiful spot with amazing views and a 2 minute walk to the beach. It was a great base to explore the local area from and equally comfortable to come back to in the evening The house is really comfortable and the deck out front is a great spot for taking in the views and generally relaxing We are a family of 5 and found there to be ample space

We had the most wonderful week in Karen’s cosy bungalow with our 3 year old daughter Willow. It was truly stunning. The views of the beach, the sea and the mountains are breathtaking. We saw an amazing sunset from the garden six out of our seven nights there. The bungalow was spotless and we received a lovely welcome hamper and some delicious cheese on our arrival. The bed linen was so soft. Karen is such a lovely host and gave us clear instructions on how to find the bungalow and answered questions straight away. It was an absolute pleasure to stay in Karen’s bungalow and I cannot recommend it highly enough. She even came to say hello just before we went home. We have already booked for the sane week next year.

We were extremely pleased with the accomodation with plenty of room and a very comfortable king size bed. It had good quality fixtures and appliances. It is one of the nicest places we have booked and stayed in.
